Isn't that ducky! The game is licensed to be made before the knuckleheads at ParaDream/HasTek make the movie official. Looks like alot of people are trying to ride the high wave on this one. For their sake, hope it doesn't turn to low tide. I'm not bringing my surfboard anytime soon.

There'll be a another game even if theres no movie. In a way, we should be looking forward to no movie tie-in game! They typically are perfunctory affairs, with little creative orginality of their own. Prove me wrong Activision!

As I've said before, don't expect much from Activision.
They more or less ruined the Star Trek game franchise and then tried to sue Viacom because "Through its actions and inactions, Viacom has let the once proud Star Trek franchise stagnate and decay." and whining because Viacom has released only one Star Trek movie since entering into agreement with Activision and has recently informed Activision it had no current plans for further Star Trek films."
When Activision gained the liecene to the Star Trek games, it more or less spelled doom for the Trek gaming community, after the botch job they did with Star Trek: Armada, the even worse sequal, ruining the Starfleet Command series and putting constraints on the dev team of the 3rd command gaming by not letting them release badly needed patches for the game, that due to Activs***** rushing the development of the game to get it into the shops, not allowing the team to properly work out bugs that badly ruined the gameplay.
Activision will make a horrible job of this movie game aswell, it'll be so bad, it'll make Tatakai look like a masterpiece.
