Takara Generation Zero Event Report

Inside Tokyo Game Show 2002
September 20-22, 2002

Tokyo Game Show, was the toy and video game convention where the Takara toy company held its much anticipated Transformers Generation Zero event on 9/20-9/22. Fans in Japan are hopeful that the extra focus on Transformers shown at this event is a very good sign that it will become a regular thing each year.

Many of the pictures here were taken on the 22nd. However due to the performance by Osamu Wada, singer of the original Carrobots theme, not as much was happening on the 21st.

As for the Play Station 2 game to be release in 2003 for sale, there is no date announced at this time. Production depends on the Winkie software which manages the "super robot great war series" and so on. As for being released on the 21st, only a movie demo was shown.
