Toy Forum 2007 - Takara Tomy New Beast Wars & AV Toys

Targeted towards people in the industry, the Toy Forum 2007 was held once again this year in Tokyo International Forum companies like Konami and TakaraTomy participated. In the midst of children-oriented toys, there exist other AV products like the ipod-docking figurines. Leisure goods with AV functions were also on display. Due to the ageing population in Japan, adult-oriented goods were also in abundance. In addition there is more news about an iPod Convoy, the MP3 Soundwave, Rumble/Frenzy headphones and another Convoy figure that is yet to be announced.

Also shown is a follow up from the Beats Wars news last week, Takara is indeed releasing an new line of Beast Wars figures. New pictures have surfaced from a a trade show where Takara Tomy were attending with a HUGE display showing none other than the Transformers front and center.

On display were new versions of Beast Wars figures that appear to be a mix of molds from the original series and Robot Masters. Each figure will include a DVD. Shown were Optimus Primal, Megatron, Cheetor, Rhinox, Black Arachnia, Dinobot, Cohrada (Beast Wars Neo / Beast Machines), and Archadis (Beast Wars Neo / Beast Machines).
