Go-Bots / RumorsWe have received several reports in the past week about even more new Transformers Playskool Go-Bots figures in the works. Then all of a sudden Remy turns up with a couple of all new Go-Bots prototypes. This time we have a black and white police car and a red formula 1 race car.
There's no question Hasbro is revving their engines on the Go-Bots line. There's a lot of activity around these Transformers for Kids; not to overlook that they are popular adult fans as well. In the past month, there's been a steady flow of reports, protoypes showing up on eBay and in Asia (see here) and now the news just this week about the Go-Bots line being released in Japan.
Whatever it all means, I think its a reasonable bet we will be seeing some new Transforming beast and vehicle figures in the US as well. With the 2003 Toy Fair just around the bend, Hasbro isn't saying much about these little guys. So we may have to wait till February to get the details on them.
