A developer's blog has also been added, with entries by Callum Godfrey, Activision's Producer for the video game, which our sister site Game News International recently had the chance to have a Q&A session with him.
There are also new in-game screenshots available on the website in the "Image Gallery" section. The images depict three new battle scenes with Bumblebee as the playable character. This is on top of the screenshots that were revealed yesterday by Gamespot. Take a look at our local image gallery for the new screens.
The site also teases about the online battle game "Battle For the Allspark." No date is set for the launch of the game, only the "Coming Soon" label is attached to the page.
The site asks the questions, "[w]ant more information on the game?" and "[h]ow about some cool prizes?" The website describes the online game as pitting "Autobots against the Decepticons in real time across the globe." The game boasts "worldwide multiplayer experience using a full-featured live environment, customizable combat attacks, and team-based play that simulates the challenges of a real world war."
The game will feature weekly and monthly prizes. The ability to register to become a beta tester for the online game is all that is available now with the game only listed as coming soon.
There is also a "Name the Transformers Poll." The poll allows for visitors to vote for the names of robots for the online game. Currently there are two robots: a forklift and cement truck drone. The winning names will be announced on April 13th. Check out our image gallery for those designs as well.
