IDW's Ken Christiansen Talks About Megatron's Aligned Tank Mode Design

IDW's Ken Christiansen talks about the taking the Transformers brand in a new direction and Megatron's Aligned design: "The assignment was to envision a near-future tank, so I did a few quick sketches, got feedback from Siebenaler, and actually only did a colored line art pass, because of a time crunch. After the presentation and following feedback, I was asked to render it fully, with no changes, along with the Prime truck, that was also initially done as colored line art, for the same pitch. Review - Transformers Generations Voyager Blitzwing

Blitzwing was generally felt to be a prominent omission though, especially when Universe produced an Octane. It's taken nearly seven years since the outset of modernized G1 character remakes, but Blitzwing has finally reached the front of the line as one of the first two of the Thrilling 30 anniversary line to reach retail. Project Predacon Beast Hunters Preview Images for New Transformers Prime Reveal Megatron's Blueprint Bone

Just out are two new stills from this weeks episode of Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters, entitled Project Predacon. Get a preview of Megatron hatching a plan to clone an army of Predacons with the the blueprint bone you can see in his hand. Additionally, we have a preview of the Decepticon farm of cloning tubes, containing an assorted variety of transforming beasts to battle the Autobots. New MP-17 Prowl and MP-18 Bluestreak Image of Transformers Masterpiece Delayed Figures

Thanks to Takara Tomy designer Shogo Hasui who has shared a new image of the Transformers Masterpiece MP-17 Prowl and MP-18 Bluestreak. The image shows the two figures side by side in thier robot modes in a kneeling position meant to show off the dexterity of these new toys.
