Honestly, I don't like to report on these Trademark things as it usually ends up being a lot of speculation. However, this latest one is hard to ignore as Hasbro have registred the trademark "Beast Hunters" which was the original name for the Beast Machines cartoon. What's most interesting is they registererd the name for both a cartoon series and a toy line. Check out the details after the jump for more information on what my be, or not, after the jump.

Perfect Effect have updated their official site with some news and images that reveal a new figure called "RC Appendex" that is listed as "The Next Motobot Member" What we are seeing is a possible remake of their PR RC figure into a Homage to Blackacrahnia ala Transformrs Prime. The images show a blue and black figure with parts and features, but a concept drawing highlighting the final colors give us a look at something more like a dark purple theme we are used to seeing. Check out the images after the jump for all the details.

It was only a matter of time before the retro train made its way back to the Japanese Beast Wars cartoons. With their different series' that forked off into Beast Wars II and followed by Neo. This was a commissioned piece. Optimus Primal is ultra class (larger one) and the original version. Few things bugged me about the figure, so I did my best to improve those. To begin with, the original figure only had fists, and when in Gorilla/alt mode, those fists weren't facing a convincing direction. I added articulated, rotating hands. I also gave his robot mode working LED eyes, with easy-access batteries located on the back. Lastly, I gave Optimus a pair of cool swords, c/o Movie Leader Prime.

As if the the debate over the Mini-MP Convoy needed any fuel. According to some news coming from AcToys.net. It looks like a new fan made Megatron is about to throw a few logs on the KO Transformers fire. The unofficial figure shown is an exact replica of the Tomy Takara MP-5 Masterpice Megatron but scaled down to roughly 2/3 the size of the original.

Robozone.com is reporting the following:

"Well, it looks like Japan has picked up and will be airing the cancelled Beast Machines cartoon series. First item up for release is this Blue version of Megatron for the same series. I wonder what other changes are going to go on in Japan? I wonder if the show will even be CGI like the original Beast Machines. Oh well only time will tell."
