With the Transformers Beast Wars Anniversary coming this year, this announcement is right on time. No work on release date, pricing or if there will be other Beast Wars characters coming at at this time. Read on to see the teaser until we know the full details.

Hisashi Yuki is taking a trip down memory lane and sharing some interesting photos on Twitter tonight. From the TakaraTomy archives comes a pair of photos showing a grey prototype of Beast Wars II Galvatron alongside Beast Wars Ultra-class Megatron during the former's development. Galvatron was one of only a tiny number of new molds for Beast Wars II, which mostly used redecos of non-show Beast Wars toys and an assortment of other existing then-recent molds. Click through to have a look at these cool photos!

Ever-prolific toy photographer Masabon1980 has posted images to his Photobucket of Transformers Cloud Hellwarp! Based conceptually off of the similarly sharky Hellscream from Beast Wars Second, Hellwarp is a new body for Skywarp based off of the Generations Sky-Byte mold. Keep reading to see!

What, did he run out of Star Saber photos? TakaraTomy's Hisashi Yuki has tweeted design sketches for Beast Wars Second's Galvatron (or, as his packaging calls him, "Garba Tron"). From an early version that seemingly emphasised a Scorponok-like tail to a more recognizeable version, Yuki's sketches are a fascinating look into the development of a 90s Japan-only toy. Keep reading to see all the images!

The e-Hobby site has been updating with a lengthy illustrated story for the Transformers Cloud line, and have just posted part 4 of 6 for the story that accompanies the upcoming Hot Rodimus and Shockwave. While the story's too complex for automated translation to make heads or tails of, head and tails are involved as this week's illustration shows Hot Rod and Shockwave doing battle as the Beast Wars Maximals and Predacons look on. Keep reading for all four illustrations and a link to the latest story page!

Check out the site for more info HERE.

Robozone.com is reporting the following:

"Well, it looks like Japan has picked up and will be airing the cancelled Beast Machines cartoon series. First item up for release is this Blue version of Megatron for the same series. I wonder what other changes are going to go on in Japan? I wonder if the show will even be CGI like the original Beast Machines. Oh well only time will tell."
