Unfortunately, recent news have confirmed what we have never wanted to hear: The great animated series, Transformers Prime, will be cancelled this year once its third season of thirteen episodes finishes. Although the news was to be expected, since as we know, the new science fiction movie directed by Michael Bay, Transformers 4, to be released in 2014, will make Hasbro focus its attention on the toys and merchandising, it still causes commotion among the great majority of the fans. Since 2006 Hasbro produced Transformers based on beloved Generation 1 characters using modern toy designs in lines such as Classics, Universe, Generations, Reveal the Shield, Transformers 2010 etc. These toys have proven highly popular with fan collectors, however in recent years Hasbro has significantly declined in manufacturing and selling such toys. What are your top 5 Official Transformer figures of 2012? I felt the year was pretty disappointing for new figures outside of the masterpiece line. Help us share and discuss the best toys of 2012 by leaving a comment listing your top 5 official Transformers released in 2012.
The Transformers Prime Season 2 Finale, "Darkest Hour," has come and gone leaving the fans hanging until Season 3 picks up. That said, I have been reading comments online and I see a lot of mixed feelings about the show. Some liked it, some didn't, and many said they didn't expect what happened. Transformers Prime has been a strange ride. in many ways, it is the cartoon that has everything we could have hoped for. Yet, it has not gained the kind of adoration that shows like Animated and others have. What are your thoughts on the Finale, Season 2, and the Prime series overall?
Its a mean old world, I know you know what I am talking about. Today is the day we vote for the rulers who are supposed to deliver us from tyranny and make freedom the right (or left) of all sentient beings. Whatever your position, get out there and vote for your faction like your spark depended on it! Check out the poll we have asking you to choose the Transformer character you would vote for President, now after the jump.
Me, I'm 32 yrs old so G1 was huge part of my childhood. The cartoons were great and the toys even better (from a child's stand point). As I got older, I found Beast Wars and the stories that they told were out of this world, the characters were believable and the morals were spot on. Couldn't have been written better, something as a younger lad, I couldn't appreciate. Transmutate sticks out in my mind the best. So what is yours? Toys or show. Read and share your comments now.
So I'm discovering real quick that I'm running out of space in my display cabinets for new figures... no wait... I've BEEN out of space for a while now! Lol my cabinets are the standard comic/collectible syle display/counter units, glass walls, glass top, glass shelves, mirror back and with the lighting kits installed. I have two 6' and one 3' cabinet giving me a ridiculous amount of space to display, but apparently not enough! I'm curious how everyone else solves this problem? Do you buy new units? Sell off part of your collection? Just call it good and move on with your life? - Follow the Topic Now
Not sure what category this actually falls in, but I was wondering how many out there that have either passed on Tf's to their children or just pick up Tf's for their kids on routine basis. I have a masterpiece Prime still in a box as well as one of the 25th Anniversary Primes and new to the addition, an Amazon G2 Bruticus. He loves the Animated series and the new Prime series. He routinely goes downstairs to my shelves and brings up Tf's to his dresser top in his room. So I was just curious if anyone else has similar stories about Tf's and their kids. I think we've all grown used to combiners being a certain way in the Transformers universe. I just wonder, how would people feel about an ultimate combiner? What do I mean by that? Glad you asked. One HUGE combined bot...Obviously. But instead of one bot as an arm, one a leg, etc..etc..they make smaller bots where one becomes the forearm and hand, one the upper arm and shoulder. One the hip and upper leg, one lower leg and foot and at least 2 different bots for the body. At least 10 bots in all. Read and share your comments after the jump.
Here's my question..... My son and I just cleaned out my parents basement of all my old toys....This reignited my transformer fever. Most of my TFs are in great shape and even have the guns but have quite a bit of sticker wear... Should I peal off the old stickers and put a new set of repro stickers on him? Or would that degrade the value? What do you think?
I was looking at the Kre-O figures on TRU.com and was wondering if anyone else has already picked these figures up? What do you guys think? I'm wanting to get Prime and the Autobot cars. Also, why do Sideswipe and Bumblebee both come with Red Alert Kreon's? Share your comments about the Transformers Kre-O action figures after the jump.
OK Transformer fans... It is time that the O.G. BumbleBee got his time in the spotlight! A Sculpture project in Nashville, TN by Rick Prince is planned to create a life-sized sculpture of our yellow pal in robot mode. Rock caught wind of a new take on the old design and believes it needs to exist in the real world for all of us geeks to gather around and celebrate, take pics, and exchange our Transformer stories by his side. Rick is presently raising money to make it happen. You can help help with a donation of as little as $1. Read more details after the jump.
The fans have spoken (voted) and the BotCon 2011 Fan's Choice for the Hall of Fame is Waspinator! For the second year in a row, the fans have chosen a Beast era character for the BotCon Hall of Fame. Waspinator beat out Erector (which received a very humorous video tribute), Jazz, Soundwave, and Grimlock. What do you think of this fan choice and the so-far domination by Beast Wars characters? Let us know in the comments!

I mean look at them, a fat red neck, a red neck in a baseball cap, and a red neck with a mullet, not to mention they went from the transformers universe's dirty dozen-to-mechanics.... really? and the scores on their fireblast? um... they're covered in friggin guns and missile batteries!!! if they end up with retarded voice overs then we have a replacement for the twins." Before I start. I gotta say that over the years, I have not been one of those to jump all over Hasbro for every little thing gone wrong in collecting world. While people have bashed them from everything from designs to distribution. I've always given them the benefit of the doubt. However, that patience has faltered. Mostly, it is the promise of figures to be released that we never end up seeing. Join the Discussion Now
