This time out, Convobat (Headmaster played by the part of Sentinel Prime's Titan Master Infinitus) ends up abandoning his full-sized body (Played by Deluxe Mindwipe) to escape Straxus' security forces, and heading into a mysterious prison block. Transformers: Dawn of The Predacus is going to be set within the IDW Beast Wars continuity with The Ascending and The Gathering, and will be written by John-Paul Bove, and drawn by Corin Howell John-Paul Bove tweeted a little teaser today letting us know that next week we find out what happened after G1 and before Beast Wars. Simon Furman has announced that he will be offering signed copies of his comic book take of Beast Wars #1, the first in an unreleased six issue mini-series from the now-defunct Dreamwave Productions. The script will be available at whichever convention he will attend. It is also available at All The Cool Stuff
for £4.00 (~$6 USD). In a blog post announcing this (he previously did this for unreleased War Within: Age of Wrath #4 and #5), he provided some back story on his thought process when crafting this Beast Wars tale. Read more about it.

Simon Furman has given some transfans a Christmas treat by divulging the script to the Beast Wars series that he wrote for Dreamwave Productions, called "Shell Game." The series never came to be, of course, due to the Dreamwave's demise, and differs significantly from the story that came out from IDW Publishing's Beast Wars: The Gathering mini-series, says Mr. Furman. The two regular covers for the "The Transformers: Beast Wars: The Ascending #1" that will be shipped on a 1-to-1 ratio have been revealed. The penciller for the book Don Figueroa has drawn each cover that will feature one of the factions - Maximals and Predacons. and name of the upcoming Beast Wars comic book. Mr. Ryall tell us that the next Beast Wars series will arrive sometime in August and will be entitled "The Ascending."

The scan comes from an accompanying booklet from Australian's Madman Entertainment's recently released Beast Wars Season 3 DVD box set. The image is of Predacons Iguanus of Beast Wars and Bazooka of the Beast Wars Neo series. The book is due out sometime next year.

The book is a special Diamond edition and "features exclusive content, including two new Beast Wars profiles and an inside look at the days before the Beast Wars," according to the press release. The book is by Forest Lee and Pete Sinclair and is due for a November release and retail for $4.95.
