Beast Wars
Beast Wars Videos

Its not every day we get a new animation from the folks at Robot Chicken. They've made a handful of wonderful shorts featuring many of the beloved, Generation 1 characters. This time, we get the fan favorite, Beast Wars Megatron. Voiced by none other than David Kaye himself. The video also features Scorponok and a somewhat rare non-show Maximal character, Polar Claw.

The other day, Optimus Primal voice actor Garry Chalk gave his first-ever Christmas address - getting into a tradition that Beast Wars Megatron actor David Kaye has upheld for many years now. Today, Kaye responds with his own How The Grinch Stole Christmas song adaptation! But where Chalk went with the classic from the 1966 animated special, Kaye went to the live-action film for "Where Are You, Optimus?" Keep reading to see!

For many years now David Kaye, voice actor for Beast Wars Megatron, has released an in-character Christmas address or recitation on YouTube. Finally, after all these years, Optimus Primal voice actor Garry Chalk responds! Singing "You're A Mean One, Megatron," Chalk riffs on "Mr. Grinch" and reveals a side of his repertoire as a performer that there was little room for in Beast Wars: he's quite the singer. Click through to see - and hear!

As has become his annual holiday tradition, voice actor David Kaye has posted a Christmas video of himself performing the song "Blue Christmas" as the immortal Beast Wars Megatron! This is Kaye's sixth such video, with possibly the highlight being Megatron's duet with Powerpuff Girls voice actress Tara Strong performing "Bubbles, It's Cold Outside." Keep reading to see this year's video!

Thanks to Youtube stop motion artist youheidx, we've got a quick, fun video showing off Tripredacus - the original Tripredacus from the 1997 Beast Wars lineup. The second year Beast Wars Ultra figures were both combiners, offering three figures dancing around the Deluxe size in a $20 box. Hard to imagine these days, isn't it? Tripredacus in its time held a reputation of being very difficult to transform and combine thanks to its engineering, making the attempt at creating a stop motion with it just that much more impressive. But we'd say this one worked out just fine. You can see for yourself in the video embedded below!

While TakaraTomy is region-locking their weekly Beast Wars videos on YouTube, ironically they're not apparently doing so on Japanese streaming site NicoVideo. This week, after the Beast Wars recap, QTransformers Arcee shows off the grayscale prototype of MP Beast Convoy! The video can't be embedded, so keep reading to see screengrabs and a link!

TakaraTomy has posted a new video - narrated by QTransformers Arcee! - to announce the 20th Anniversary of Beast Wars! It seems largely to be a recap of the series, but an "event" is promised - and we've got a spiffy new 20th Anniversary logo. Keep reading to be confused!

David Kaye - voice of Megatron throughout Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and the Unicron Trilogy and the only person to voice the character more than Frank Welker - has posted his annual Christmas greeting to fans of the show. This year's video is a recitation of Mel Torme's "The Christmas Song," which even if you don't know by the title you will likely recognize if you've been out shopping in the last month. Keep reading to see, and check out Mr. Kaye's YouTube channel for the past four years' worth of Megatron greetings as well!

This week's QTransformers II episode guest-stars Arcee, whose appearance in the series was just announced last week! She's there to explain Beast Wars and Beast Machines to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Lockdown. While the series always had comedic elements, the comedy was ratcheted way up in the Japanese dub of Beast Wars, resulting in a very different tone for the series - one that Lockdown seems to be having trouble coping with. Keep reading to watch the Japanese language animation!

YouTuber masainjapan2008 has posted an 11-minute video showing TakaraTomy's presentation at Tokyo Toy Show 2015! For a good look at MP Ironhide & Optimus Primal, Unite Warriors Devastator and all the new Transformers Adventure items, keep reading to watch!

Transformers collectors everywhere has been drooling over the amazing vintage unproduced figures and other arifacts showing up on Ebay from seller z75sales such as the G2 Menasor set that sold for a whooping $27,000 USD!!! Not surprising, it turns out these items came from the estate of a Kenner / Hasbro employee who's got much more to show us. Thankfully, z75sales has taken to YouTube with their own channel to begin sharing these amazing pieces. Watch the first videos presenting an unknown Black Optimal Optimus Prototype and more from the Mackey-Florence toy collection.

z75sales, the eBay seller responsible for the recent G2 Menasor auction that shocked us all with a final price of $26,800, has posted a video detailing the source of the collection and its size and scope. Unsurprisingly, they're liquidating the collection of a former Hasbro/Kenner engineer. These first two videos explain how the authenticity of each piece is guaranteed, and give a look at the original prototype of Beast Wars Optimal Optimus! More videos are promised but for now, check out these two!

What a nice treat a couple of days from the night where Santa Claus squeezes himself into every child's chimney to delivery gifts! David Kaye, well known in the fandom for lending his voice to Beast Wars Megatron, is offering you a Merry Christmas! Donning his persona as the Megatron with a personality, Mr. Kaye William Shatners (yes, we turned William Shatner's singing style into a verb) his way through "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" - A Capella style. Watch the video embedded in the full article!

Video reviews for all the newest Transformers releases are common place these days. There are quite literally dozens of reviews for most every new figure we see in the stores. That said, there's a huge number of Transformers figures that have never gotten air time, until now. Thanks to forums member Vigadeth who has posted video review of one of my faves, the Beast Wars Transmetal Ramulus action figure. He's a goat....he has a great motto....he has chrome magenta! HE'S AMAZING! Check out the video to revisit all that TM goodness again after the jump.

Peaugh is back with another video review with this being a look at the Beast Wars Quickstrike homage, Transformers Dark of the Moon Mechtech Deluxe Darksteel. The figure is a repaint of the Sideswipe mold from the same line with a brand-new head and remolded Mechtech weapons from Starscream. Overall, Peaugh states that he's a little disappointed in the mold, with the combined Starscream weapon not fitting well in his hands due to the wheels and an overall cheaper feel. Judge for yourself in the video after the jump. The figure will be available at all retailers next month in the U.S. and is a BIC Camera exclusive in Japan.
