Yesterday we brought you the news that the soundtrack to the 1986 Transformers: The Movie would see a rerelease on vinyl. While at the time we weren't sure about availability outside Europe, we have good news tonight! Amazon has listed a preorder
for this record, which they'll be fulfilling directly themselves. The bad news is that this release is listed at $50.99. For some this may still be very attractive, but others looking for a novelty piece, it might still be a bit out of range!
Music on Vinyl lists an upcoming release of the soundtrack for the animated Transformers: The Movie. Perhaps the ultimate nostalgia hit, for those with a passion for records and a love of the 86 movie's songs this will be a must have. The site notes that a first pressing of 1000 records will be on transparent blue vinyl, for that little bit of extra special. If you remember what a record player is and have one that still works, look for this to be released on December 15th. Music on Vinyl is based in the Netherlands, so check with your favorite music store to find out if they will or can get this for you.
