Gothamist reports that Transformers Generation One will be taken out of circulation on Netflix on January 1st 2015. Chances are by now you've seen the History Channel's TV show Pawn Stars. Recently, they have been airing and episode where they meet with a Transformers collector with a lot of robots. See multiple copies of many G1 figures like Fortress Maximus, Scorponok, Mirage and many more that won't believe. Thanks to forums member Backfire who posted a whole mess of stills from the show.
Our good friends over at Moonbase 2 Podcast have revealed some secret tidbits in an their recent interview Michael Bell. The voice actor has revealed the next Transformers cartoon is presently being cast by Susan Blu who handled the casting for Transformers Animated, Beast Wars, and was the voice of Arcee in G1. Bell says he has auditioned for the role of Ratchet and a character that goes by the name "General Fowler." Bell also stated that David Sobolov, who played the voice of "Depth Charge" in Beast Wars, is another actor up for audition. Check out the full interview now at Moonbase 2

Hasbro, Inc. announced today that they have purchased over 1,000 episodes of classic programming featuring some of the most established brands, including G.I. Joe and Transformers. These properties were produced by Sunbow back in the day and were most presently owned by TV-Loonland. "As we deliver new immersive entertainment experiences to audiences worldwide, it was extremely important that we had the rights to fully control the usage of our intellectual properties," said Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s Chief Operating Officer. Hey, did anybody catch last night's episode of Boston Legal? If you did (or didn't), one of the key stories on last night's episode centered on a girl who becomes HIV positive and sues her school for improper teaching of abstinance. On last night's Robot Chicken, there was another Transformers parody. This time it included Megatron with a very familiar voice. Watching the credits verified my feeling that it was indeed Frank Welker voicing Megatron once again. Check it out here
