How would you like to hang with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee on the high-seas? Well, soon you will be able to on the “Carnival Playtime” that is a new partnership with Carnival Cruise Lines and Hasbro.
Passengers will be able to engage in all sorts of games and characters that are inspired by the Transformers and My Little Pony, on board the cruise ship itself. According to the report on Carnival Cruise Lines. Fans will can get on board the special four-day trip between July 13 to September 17, departing out of Long Beach, California.
From March to May 2017 Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and the Rescue Bots will invade the African continent for the first time in Transformers Animatronics at Emperors Palace. Following a massively successful Latin American tour, visitors can look forward to breath-taking sculptures, made from wrecked cars, on display against the scenery of the legendary planet, Cybertron, that will be brought to life through eye-popping performance technology.

Today Hasbro, announced the “Power of the Primes” fan vote, an upcoming event that will place the fate of Cybertron directly in the hands of Transformers fans around the globe. Beginning on January 23rd, 2017, fans will be able to visit Transformers.com to cast their vote to help determine which character will join the ranks of Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime and other Cybertronian legends. The fan-voted Prime will be featured in the Transformers Generations toy line and brand’s Prime Wars Trilogy storytelling in 2018.
The Masterpiece series has won the 2016 Good Design Award from the Japan Institute For Design Promotion! A "comprehensive design-promotion system that picks good design out of a variety of unfolding phenomena, and aims to enrich our lives, industries, and society as a whole by highlighting and celebrating these works," The GDA is given out annually in a variety of fields. TFCon Chicago is almost here, and quite a few companies are showing up to have fun! Among the unexpected publishers... are ThreeA, makers of the upcoming Premium Scale G1 Optimus Prime figure. They'll be bringing along a striking print by artist Ashley Wood that is based on the figure. This print will be limited to 45 pieces and they don't mention the price in the press release, so I wouldn't expect it to be cheap. Keep reading to see the image!
Its hard to believe they are not in there already, but what's long overdue has finally happened. The National Toy Hall of Fame have chosen Transformers as one of the finalists for 2016.
Competing with quite a few other well known toys, strangely enough even Bubble-Wrap leads the list among other toys such as Rock Em Sock Em Robots, Uno card game, Fisher Price Little People, Nerf, Clue board game, Pinball, Swing, Care Bears, Coloring Book, Dungeons & Dragons.

TFExpo has let us know that their successful charity auction will be returning for TFExpo 2016, happening this weekend in Wichita, Kansas! Celebrity guest Michael Bell will be on hand to emcee the auction, whose proceeds will benefit K-9 Karma Animal Advocates Inc., a pet rescue operation in Wichita. The auction will then be followed by a theatrical showing of The Transformers: The Movie!
