From a Japanese hobby magazine via Singapore fan group Planet Iacon,
we have an image that seems to show chest and shoulder design art for a new G1-styled Optimus Prime figure. Is this a new Masterpiece version 3.0? Or something else entirely? It'll be a good while before we know, but meanwhile, keep reading to see the image!
The smallest gallery to share is that for the standard Masterpiece line. The newest entrant shown is the MP-17+ Prowl featuring animation-inspired deco and which it seems is due to get a same-month release by Hasbro going by indications from some of the US retailers. Also out at the show were Shadow Panther, with a copy of Cheetor out as a point of comparison. And rounding out the upcoming product was Dinobot, making most things around it look small. It seems that several other items were included in the display, but in the form of exclusives and other long-since released products to represent the line. You can check out the photos of the newer products below.

Multiple members of the 2005 forums are reporting ToysRUs sightings of Power of the Primes
Prime Master Wave 1 figures! This assortment includes Skullgrin(Liege Maximo), Cloudburst(Micronus), and Metalhawk(Vector Prime), and ship in a case of 12 with 4 each, so hopefully they should be plentiful when you find them. Keep reading for the statement!
The ToysWalker page on Facebook has posted some coverage of the Toy Soul event happening right now in Hong Kong, including the Flame Toys display featuring early looks at a number of new licensed Transformers products they're working on. The previously teased Tarn is on display in full, though still just in prototype grey. Alongside is a prototype for an IDW-inspired Star Saber - and if you didn't think Star Saber looked like a Gundam already, you sure will now. A series of simpler figures or possibly model kits consisting of highly stylized redesigns of G1 characters was also on show today. The website Time & Space
put up a gallery of images of an interesting new promotion for the AU x Transformers Infobar Optimus Prime figure: a cardboard sculpture of the toy! The intricately designed and assembled sculpture is the work of artist Monami Ohno
, whose work in the medium of cardboard is very impressive indeed- even the logos and numbers on the phone parts are carefully-cut cardboard. Keep reading to see the image!

TaoTaoToys on Weibo has shared two photos showing the outer box for the soon to be released Masterpiece Sunstreaker. MP-39 has its official release date in Japan at the end of this month, so it's not entirely surprising that a few pieces may have found their way out to other channels at this point. The packaging is largely the standard fare with the familiar styling and array of stock imagery we've already seen, but it's good as a start point to get the excitement going for the release in just a couple of weeks' time! Click through to have a look.

The figure is a re-release of the individual TakaraTomy Godbomber and Super Ginrai, and... basically, what you get for this fancy boxset is clear windows on Ginrai, chrome on Godbomber, and two new Headmasters. Is that worth buying this set twice? Probably not, but we think it'll probably come down to how much you like Minerva and Cab. Keep reading!
