Debuting at Tokyo Comicon, Casio has posted a 30-second Japanese TV spot for their G-Shock line of watches featuring Optimus Prime! It's a pretty nice CG model and an entirely new design - but the ad is short and mostly shows the transformation along with Prime punching a meteor. Keep reading to see!

If your answer is "yes," then Transformers@The Moon has come through for you again! On the tail-end of their recently-released tape for War of the Dinobots, TF@TM have discovered a session of generic robot kitty sounds recorded by Frank Welker, with voice direction by the one and only Wally Burr! Keep reading to hear.

Thanks to Eric Crownover, AKA @ErimusPrime on Twitter for the tip! YouTuber chefatron, formerly known as fxfranz, has posted reviews of many of the Wave 4 Titans Return figures that hit the Philippines this weekend: Leader Sky Shadow, Voyager Broadside, Deluxes Perceptor & Sergeant Kup, and Legends Class Brawn! These are the first video reviews of these figures that we know of. Keep reading to see!

It is unusual for a Hasbro Designer Desk video to spotlight a Masterpiece figure - not least of which because MPs tend to be projects initiated by TakaraTomy. But because of that, this Masterpiece Bumblebee episode of Transformers Designer Desk has a very special guest star, Mr. Shogo Hasui! Keep reading to see the video!

Finally! Loopaza Mega Store has posted a video to their Facebook page showing off the sound chip in LG31 Fortress Maximus' head, Cerebros/Fortress!. As hoped and rumored, it does in fact have a short version of the Headmasters theme! The rest of the voices are Japanese dialogue (of course), with lines such as "Transform!", "I am Fortress," and of course "Head On!" Keep reading to see the video!

It's that time again! We're up to episode 4 of 8 of the Combiner Wars mini-series, and this one introduces Megatron into the mix. Where has he been since the end of the war? What's he up to? Is he more a Frank Welker or a Corey Burton Megatron? We've got a go90 link for US readers and a YouTube embed for everyone else, so keep reading to find out!

The previously announced QTransformers plushes have an ad up on YouTube... and they talk! (in Japanese!) You can ask Optimus Prime about a subject, and just like on the QTransformers anime, he'll struggle to come up with a decent joke involving that word. And it seems the TV trio of Lockdown, Prime, and Bumblebee can all talk to each other! Keep reading to see the ad.

Delayed until October 1st for reasons, the final episode of QTransformers II is now up on YouTube. In this episode, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Lockdown, and their guests Jazz, Wheeljack, and Red Alert sit around spitballing ideas for a QTransformers movie. Keep reading to check it out!

This week, the QTransformers visit Puroland, the theme park operated by Hello Kitty creators Sanrio. And Optimus Prime is super-excited to be there! Obviously this is an advertisement for the Hello Kitty QTransformers, but the usual QTF weirdness is on display. Keep reading to see it in Japanese!

It's Monday, so it's time for your nigh-incomprehensible Japanese-language Transformers cartoon fix! Today, Shockwave, Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave talk about the history of small, cute Transformers toys in Japan, ranging from BeCool (Bot Shots) to Choro-Q Transformers! As a bonus, the Decepticons try to up their cute game by sounding like cats. "Eject!! ...nyan!" Keep reading to be confused!

This week's QTransformers II episode guest-stars Arcee, whose appearance in the series was just announced last week! She's there to explain Beast Wars and Beast Machines to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Lockdown. While the series always had comedic elements, the comedy was ratcheted way up in the Japanese dub of Beast Wars, resulting in a very different tone for the series - one that Lockdown seems to be having trouble coping with. Keep reading to watch the Japanese language animation!

The episode title translated pretty cleanly this time! ...though it's possible the better translation might've been Adults-Only. This week's QTransformers stars Decepticons Soundwave, Starscream, Shockwave, and of course Megatron, as they discuss Kiss Players. Luckily, the episode seems largely safe for work. Click through to see!

Ever wondered about the new kinds of Transformers introduced past 1986? Pretenders? Headmasters? Powermasters, or Godmasters as they're known in Japan? So does Lockdown. Drift helps lay out the post Season 3 Japanese TV series in this week's episode of QTransformers II, and while Lockdown is typically confused, Bumblebee seems to think it's all just one big bizarre adventure. Click through to see the episode (in Japanese without subtitles)!

Recently we pointed you to a stop motion review from the Japanese Youtube channel youheidx, and today we're happy to be able to show another of youhei's productions, this time featuring the Kabaya Seacon kits. The video shows an abbreviated assembly for each figure, giving individual overviews, and them demonstrates transformation and combining. It's probably the most fun look you'll get at this round of candy toy models, so definitely keep reading and take a look at the embedded video!
