Armada Figures

The Featured Toy Of The Month is Armada Supercon Optimus Prime! A poseable, economical alternative to the Super Base-class Prime, this one can't turn off your TV set when you transform it but it does happen to be the standard by which all Deluxe Optimus Primes- if not all modern Deluxes -are judged.

Hydra just sent us an update this week about some new images from his Micron collection. "This time is a very special item: the carded unreleased Space and Adventure teams from Armada that never saw the light of day! Talk about the rarest of rare Microns! The Space team in particular was an nice looking recolor, and it's too bad we never saw these during the Unicron Battles." You can see them online now at

Thanks to Leisure guy for hooking is up again with pictures of the Transformers Cybertron (Armada) action figures Devastar, Cyberhawk and Prowl on the Korean packaging. Check out the pics HERE.

Toys R US Japan has posted the Energon Ultra Magnus and recolor Space Team figures set for pre-order on thier site. Fans were scarmbling to get these in the Wave 1 Energon releases. Now there's more! Check out the page (in-language) HERE.

Remy's World has posted pics of some new Armada Knockoffs making the rounds in Asia. There are pics of two sets on the card; a Start Saber set and a Jet-Convoy set with the hilarious line "It Is Big To Match" on it - too damn funny! But really, they look pretty cool for clones! Check them out HERE.

Transformers Armada USA Edition Red Thrust has been released in Japan as a Toy's Dream Project Exclusive. Image may be viewed at Transfandom here Thanks to DragonX76 & "No Good Cow".

It didn't take long for knock-of versions of the Transformers Armada (or are these Micron?) toys to start showing up. Normally they are not a big deal because they suck. But the pictures of the ones P.Prime posted on the Transformers forum are HUGE! Check out pics of the the Jumbo KO Space Team and other Armada KOs HERE.

Amazing little discovery last night folks. When I turned off my lights I noticed that the hands on Happy Meal Armada Prime are glowing. If u still don't know this yet, check it out for yourselves, it's kinda cool. I only wish the whole thing glows...want a prime that glows more in the dark? Walmart has Armada Prime keychains that is also a tiny flashlight! This little super detailed thing is about as tall as a regular PVC figure and is only $2.97! See the Armada Prime Key-Light HERE.

Reports are coming in that the Armada Bubble Twist candy toys are out. Sure enough we were able to locate some at near by Toys R Us. For $1.99 you get an interesting plastic contraption that despenses soft gum from one end, and has a stash place for a small plastic Transformers Armada figure on the other. Check out more info and pics HERE.

Thanks to Dark Nova at Transfandom Forums, Hasbro 's put up a Built-To-Rule website that was updated with instructions for the line including BTR Transformers instructions available for the following characters: Demolisher, Hot Shot, Jetfire, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Red Alert, Smokescreen and Starscream. The instructions are available in PDF format and can be seen HERE.

Thanks to Lord Megatron at Transfandom Forums, the website was updated with new Armada bios: Sea Team, Emergency Team, Space Team and Air Military Team.

Trypticon of the TFD forums brings the fandom word of the following new listing in the TRU system: 907370 Bonus EX TF Super Pack 12.99

Has anyone noticed that there are a few US Armada Tidal Wave boxes that have a sticker strategically placed over the tri-lingual comment above the WARNING - choking hazard label on the front of the box? If this sticker is removed you can clearly see that what is stated on most boxes (Combine to create a warship!) actually says Electronics Lights and Sound! HASBRO USA did not catch these boxes in time and did not change them so they put stickers on them to cover up the fact that Tidal Wave was issued in the US without the lights and sounds that the Japanese version will have! WHAT A RIP!!!

I just spotted possibly some error packings on some of the old Transformers Armada. I have found a set of Dark Saber, Adventure Team and Street Team with Unicron Battles Card Back. Not sure if it's an error but be on the look out for these since these are a must for anyone who wants the original Green Packing and the Armada Unicron Battles Packing!

gunman_sr5 of the Transformers forum has posted news about finding a TF Universe CD in the Armada Tidal Wave packs: "At Wallmart last night. I was going through some cases trying to find Overload and Skywarp (I did). I ran across 2 cases of Tidal Wave with CD. I found an open one to check it out. It is the Universe CD. Has anyone else seen them yet, and what is on the CD?" Did you get one with your Armada figure? Post about it HERE.
