Armada is picking up in the quantity and quaility of releases. AmericanDreamComics has just revealed two all new Armada figure prototypes. Their names are not know yet, but the molds are fantastic including a G1 Scavenger type digger and what looks like a Lamborghini type of race car. Check out the full images gallery HERE.

AmericanDreamComics has posted pictures of two new upcoming Transformers: Armada Mini-Con teams. Though not confirmed we believe they are The Emergency Mini-Con Team and the Air Military Mini-Con Team. See the images of both sets HERE.

Thanks to Anti Spark of The AllSpark forums for posting the news about pictures of two new Mini-cons that were spotted for auction on Yahoo Auctions. The pics show some cool new styling we've not seen on a Mini-con till now. See the pics and thread HERE.

Over at, they have a pair of mismatched and hidiously colored Armada Optimus Prime test shots. Of note, is one which is mostly black and purple, which posibly could be a test shot for the Armada "Scourge" seen in one of the miniposters in Dreamwaves G1 comic. Here are links to the pages: Black Prime and the Other Prime Test Shot.

Remy has passed along several new details about the new Armada figures coming out later this year. Check this out: Armada Galvatron's Mini-con will have different mold than leader-1. One of the Darksaber Sword will be used by Galvatron. The 3rd Armada comic will feature Jetfire (Firejet ?) Prime vs Darksaber / Galvatron. The Japanese re-paint of Starsaber will be called "Fire Saber." The re-paint of Mini-con Cosmotactor (Skyboom) will be called "Crystaltactor." Please remember this is an unoffical report that has not been confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates soon.

TransFandom has posted a picture of an Armada prototype figure that we've never seen before. The interesting thing about this figure is the sophistication of the figure design. Definately quite a departure from the Mini-cons made for Armada so far. It is just a guess, but could this be Armada Unicron's Mini-con? See the picture HERE.

Joel from Big Bad Toy Store included this tidbit in his latest newsletter: "Hasbro has informed me that a few figures (no indication which yet) may be released in late June, Early July. The majority of the figures seem to now be scheduled for a mid to late July release, with some coming out in August. Thats all the info I have for now - no specifics whatsoever."

Following the filing of "Transformers Armada" in December. Hasbro Inc. has recently filed 25 more names for trademark. This time there are more G1 names like Cyclonus, Thundercracker and Ramjet plus some new ones like Oval, Iceberg and Firebot. Click the title to get the complete list. has posted their very own Transformers Armada FAQ. Check it out here, if you want to see some possible spoilers. There is still no officiial word on a new show so don't believe everything you read.

The site is currently reporting that Hasbro has "copyrighted" (ed: trademarked or registered is more like it) the name "Transformers Armada."
