We have obtained a copy of the actual Unicron video that was given out in a special promotion to the first 4000 customers that puchased Micron Legend toys from Toys 'R Us in Japan. The VHS tape shows us some of the very first footage of the Micron Legend (Armada) Unicron character. We have scans of the tape box and screen caps (coming soon) that you can look at HERE

has gotten it's hands on a Windows Media File of an ad for the Micron version of Jetfire. The big surprise is that it also features the Shockwave (Tidal Wave) /Megatron combo, Burning Megaton. For those of you who have been moaning about the "snot" and "puke" green color on parts of the American version will be happy to know that it's been totally replaced with a shade of purple, that while a bit bright, looks a heck of a lot better. Transformers fans in Japan are gearing up for the show with new figures just announced and a special McDonalds promotion coming soon as well. There's not much there now, but keep checking for updates on the show HERE
Thanks to OX for the information, we have news that Transformers fans in Japan will be watching the new cartoon in January. The show that we know as "Armada" will be called "Micron Densetsu" in Japan, which when translated into english means "Micron Legend." The show will debut with episode 1 on January 10, 2003. Congrats go out to all the fans in Japan!
