Fun Publications has posted the final two pages of the six-page preview of their BotCon 2012
exclusive Transformers Timelines Invasion Prologue comic book. Written by Jessse Wittenrich and Pete Sinclair, the setting is brought to life by Will Mangin with inks by Jake Isenberg and colors by Josh Burcham. The final panel on the sixth and final page is truly an interesting direction! Take a look at all six pages in the gallery.
James Roberts (IDW Publishing's Last Stand of the Wreckers) will pen IDW Publishing's Transformers Ongoing issues #22 and #23, reveals Editor Andy Schmidt. The Transformers Ongoing series has been handled by Mike Costa so far and has receiving reviews ranging from sometimes-loved to downright panned. In a post on the company's official message boards, Mr. Schmidt wrote about Transformers Hearts of Darkness, released just this week, and the two issues by Mr. Roberts will tie into Transformers Chaos, IDW's next big arc for the Transformers comic universe, being billed as "the first ever Transformers event book." IDW Publishing's editor-in-chief Chris Ryall has provided us a first look of I Am Optimus Prime, the comic book series
based off the Transformers: Universe Robot Heroes toyline. The first image is Soundwave releasing his cassettes Ravage and Laserbeak. The second image depicts several fights between Autobots and Decepticons.

IDW Publishing's Editor-in-Chief has updated his blog with some news about new project they will be rolling out in 2009. The post informs us of a new series with the first book being called "I AM OPTIMUS PRIME" and described as a hard cover picture book featuring characters that are modeled on the "Robot Heroes" toy line.

Fun Publications has announced the new Transformers Timelines Spring Special featuring Nightbeat to be available in March 2008.
