Hasbro was kind enough as to provide us with yet more official photos from the Cybertron Con 2016 reveals, this time of the Rise of Rodimus Prime set! This set, the most recent in a series of Platinum Edition sets celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, includes a Matrix of Leadership, a new release of Universe 2008 Galvatron, and Titaniums Rodimus Prime of all things. Joe Moscone, formerly the PR agent that handled Hasbro's entertainment brands such as Transformers, GI Joe, etc., is auctioning off his collection of figure for charity. For the benefit of Receptions For Research: The Greg Olsen Foundation, Moscone is auctioning off a fairly impressive collection heavy on convention and SDCC exclusives. Most notably for Transformers fans, he's auctioning off the reasonably rare OTFCC Sentinel Maximus figure. Keep reading for more info!

Ex-Hasbro Designer Erik Arana - now of Boss Fight Studios - has posted design work he did for unproduced remolds of Universe Cyclonus and Galvatron! Galvatron would've become a G2 Megatron complete with the sword that was included with Takara's G1 Megatron toy. Cyclonus was slated to become fellow Targetmaster Triggerhappy, complete with head-mounted quad cannons. Keep reading to see the images!

Thanks to The Spacebridge who have posted yet another blast from the past that never left the launch pad. They have posted yet more images of the Transformers Universe figures that were never released. Get a look at the Jetstorm and Toxitron action figures that are both sporting eye opening color schemes. Check out the images and notes on these figures from The Spacebridge below.

Thanks to The Space Bridge who have shared another one of their uber rare Transformers antiquities: Back in 2003 Hasbro had planned a repaint of Thunderclash / MW Prime as Menasor. A few unpainted prototypes have appeared over the years along with the box art. Here are some rare pictures of Hasbro's paint guide for the completed toy. See the images of the Unreleased Transformers Universe Menasor Figure that never was mirrored in the gallery below.

Thanks to the Allspark's Powered Convoy who has posted an extensive review and image gallery for the Transformers United Seeker Ace Set. Two new images of the TFSS Breakdown action figure has been uploaded to the Official Transformers Collectors Club twitter account. The images of the upcoming deluxe class toy show a close-up of Breakdown's head in shot. The other shows him in robot mode side-by-side with the vintage Generation 1 Breakdown toy as well as their BotCon 2011 Animated Breakdown figure as well as a close-up shot of the headsculpt on this exclusive.

The Transformers Generations "China Import" Voyager Protectobot Hot Spot has been released in Asian markets, and mraball of ACToys has done good by taking an in-depth gallery of the figure. The gallery shows off the Generation 1 redeco of the Transformers Universe Inferno mold along with a brand-new head design. This figure, along with the packaging seen in the gallery, and a bunch of other Transformers Generations figures that were originally announced as Asia market exclusives will be "imported" by Hasbro to Toys R Us as exclusives this October. Tformers and RFC are like at BotCon 2012 in Dallas Texas. Thanks to our good fellows at RFC we have a few looks at the Transformers BotCon 2012 exclusive action figures that are on display. Fun Publications has announced that the box artwork from the Transformers Invasion exclusive box set is now a lithograph and will be available for purchase this weekend at BotCon 2012 in Dallas, TX. The artwork is by Casey Coller and Josh Perez. Remember, Tformers and Radio Free Cybertron will be there live the entire weekend bringing you all the news and commentary that you can handle!

An image posted on Planet Iacon's Facebook page shows off what appears to be a Shattered Glass Optimus Prime figure in vehicle mode, leading to some speculation that this could be a BotCon 2012 exclusive. The figure is utilizing the Transformers Reveal the Shield G2 Optimus Prime mold, which is also being put to good use by Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus, one of the six exclusive figures this year featured in the BotCon Invasion convention exclusive set. BotCon is approaching and with every day we have more news and previews of what's in-store for this years action figure offerings. Here we have some in-hand looks at the 2012 Octopunch voyager class action figure. The repaint of Sea Spray from the Generations line is born again as the Pretender character sans the pretender element. This might be one of the best toys offered this year. Check out the images to decide for your self after the jump.

Takara Tomy has brand-new figures as part of their Transformers United line, which include UN-23 Rodimus Prime, UN-24 Warpath, UN-25 Tank Megatron, UN-26 Thunderwing, and UN-27 Windcharger vs Decepticon Wipeout. The figures are a nice combination of Hasbro's release under various lines, including their Universe 2.0 (and Classics before that), Generations, and various figures released under the Transformers Hunt For the Decepticons line and the generic Transformers line after that. The figures released were all acquired by the Alfes blog and have posted galleries to all of them. We have snagged highlights of each toy and offered them in the gallery, but be sure to check the "Source" section for all of the links.

In case you have not attempted to register for BotCon 2012 which went live tonight, you may want to log in, since the registration provides a sneak peek of Shattered Glass Evil Autobot Ultra Magnus and Classicsverse Pretender Commander Metalhawk, the remaining two figures from the six figure convention exclusive set. The images are rather small, but Fun Publications did promise to show off larger images of Metalhawk tonight. As previously reported, Ultra Magnus utilizes a Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime while Metalhawk will be a repainted Generations Thunderwing mold with a brand new head. After showing off "The Overlord" Gigatron (that's their official name, the first figure in their BotCon 2012 convention exclusive set, in a video, we now have official images of the figure in vehicle and robot modes. In addition to this official reveal, colorist Jesse Wittenrich is showing off his colored version of the BotCon 2012 teaser poster, which fully reveals not only the artwork of the Shattered Glass Evil Ultra Magnus (using the Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime mold), it also reveals Shattered Glass Heroic Soundwave.
