Energon Reviews

In our latest review, Richard looks at one of the more recent offerings from Hasbro's Transformers Energon line, Alpha Quintesson. Is this non-transforming Transformers toy worth picking up or leaving on the shelf? Read about it here to find out.

By all accounts the Transformers Energon Wave 5 figures are hitting stores across the USA. We've got a batch of new reviews covering several of the hot new deluxe figures. Check out write ups for Downshift, Sharkticon and Slugslinger along with over 450 other Transformers toys in the reviews section.

Praxus's own Prowl has posted a review on the rare Energon Deluxe Slugslinger! You can view his review at Praxus here

Energon Cliffumper is a sort of big, large dune buggy (or something like that). Its vehicle mode appears cool well designed, but it's a bit unstable; it would have not been difficult to lock tight everything together, but it wasn't so in the end. Read the complete review here.

For all the interesting and unique entries that the Transformers line has given us the past 20 years, the line seemed plagued by one strange limitation: the lack of Non-Transformer toys. It may seem strange, but Hasbro has traditionally shyed away from releasing toys under the Transformer name that don't Transform. Maybe it has something to do with the poor reaction to the Action Master figures. Read the review here.

In 1985, the Autobots introduced us to their ultimate, last line of defense; Omega Supreme. Nineteen years later, the big 'bot returns in the Energon line better than ever. Loaded with the fun gimmicks that don't get in the way of any of his many modes, Omega Supreme also heralds the return of the Headmaster feature. Read more here.

The hits keep coming as Richard reviews yet another Energon toy. This time, he takes a look at the recently released Autobot Powerlinx combiner; Cliffjumper. Read all about the latest addition to the Autobot cause here.

Our own Moribundus VII has been one of the first to recieve a Energon Sharkticon and has been kind enough to write up a VERY in depth review for everyone here

We are pleased to announce that reviews for the Wave 4 Basics Energon Strongarm(repaint) and Offshoot are now up in the reviews section, both with comparsion pictures!

As of this writing, Tow-Line is a yet-to-be-released toy from the Transformers Energon line. This review will cover the test shot of this figure. It is possible that mold changes may be made to the toy before the final version sees mass release. Also, this test shot came with no accessories, so those will not be covered. Read the review here.

Our very one Behold_Galvatron brings us our first review up for the highly antcipated Energon figure Shockblast! Check out the review HERE.

Boy Hasbro just loves to play with the fans. Springer in Alt mode, Springer in Bot mode, Springer in color, and they name him… Bulkhead. What a tease. Oh, well. Can’t spend our lives living in the past I suppose. Springer is dead. Long live Bulkhead! Read the review HERE.

Needless to say this was a toy I was looking forward to. With the last 2 months being bone dry for new toys, I finally broke down and purchased the Slugslinger prototype. I’d always wanted a proto for my collection anyway, and this seems a pretty good mold to take that place on my shelf. Sure I overpaid a little ($30) but I think it was worth it. Read the review HERE.

While Armada Demolishor was one of the best deluxe toys in his line, the character never seemed to get the appreciation as other Armada characters. Doubtless Demolishor fans are glad to see the character get a larger, and more developed, role early in Energon. Check out the comeplete review of Demolisher here.

Thanks to our master revierwer, Richard, who comes through again with reviews of the just released Energon figures Arcee and Insection figures just hitting store shelves now. Check these are 430+ more TF reviews in the reviews section.
