Click here to view the Radio Free Cybertron live stream for 7/1/2015! This week it's the post-Botcon / pre-SDCC blues!

Entertainment Earth has just posted that in association with Hasbro, they'll be handing out free diorama backdrops based on either Transformers or My Little Pony with a purchase from the EE booth at SDCC next month. The Transformers backdrop is based on the Autobot Command Center from the original cartoon, and measures 9.5 x 11 inches, making it suitable for use with a wide range of toys. With Botcon now just a lingering memory and Team FunPub back safely at home, they've taken stock of the exclusives for this year and found leftovers of basically everything to make available for purchase on the club's online store. While naturally the attendee freebie figure is not among them, everything else is currently available for purchase. If you couldn't make Botcon itself but still want some of the exclusives, head on over and take advantage of the leftovers while they last! Keep reading for a full list.

This week it's our annual JD Church Memorial Show! We take a few minutes to remember our friend JD, who passed away last year. Also, Botcon! We talk about all the reveals and news from Hasbro last week, as well as the Tokyo Toy Show News from Takara. If you want to hear more about Sky Lynx, Masterpiece Optimus Primal, Masterpiece Ironhide, Titan Wars and more, tune in! For more Botcon talk check out our recent RFC Mini-cast as well as RFC Extra (episodes 14 and 15!)

While there were no new items added today, we did swing by Hasbro's display case one more time to get another round of high quality photos of the upcoming figures on display. With added looks at Sky Reign and Sky Lynx, the Combaticons, new Legends like Shockwave and Buzzsaw, plus RID Mini-Cons and recolors, we have almost 100 more photos to keep you in anticipation of all these releases. Click through and check them out!

On Sunday afternoon, the Art of Transformers panel took place, though more accurately it could have been called "The Artists Of Transformers" as it took place in the form of a question and answer session with the artists of both linework and coloring in the Transformers titles. Click through and keep reading to check out our rundown of the events of the panel!

The official Transformers Facebook page has posted a message inducting Megatron voice actor Frank Welker into the Hall of Fame! But that's not the only inductee - attendees of the HoF dinner have also reported on the other three nominations, chosen by Fan Vote! To see the individual robot, combiner, and musical act inducted, keep reading!

On Saturday at Botcon 2015, I had the chance to speak with Jerry Jivoin, John Warden, and Ben Montano from Hasbro. In the interview, I ask about some elements of the current design process in Generations and Robots in Disguise, planning for new reveals, and more! Click through now and check out the embedded video. As always, our thanks to the guys from Hasbro for taking time out to talk with the fans!

UPDATED with additional photos! - Fresh from the display case we've got our first round of photos from Hasbro's Saturday update. Getting our first look at the Combaticons and Bruticus, new Legends like Buzzsaw, and Voyager Sky Lynx, the core to Sky Reign with the second wave Autobot car limbs. We'll have more a little later today, but for now get in the gallery, have a look and begin the anticipation!

Today during the Private Sales Room Experience, we were able to visit Hasbro's display case and get a good look at Titan Class Devastator - and the SDCC exclusive version. The chrome on the SDCC example hasn't been well represented in photos, but may not satisfy the concerns of those worried about the chrome, and unfortunately they seem to share the same basic green plastic color. We also got to see the Combiner Hunters set, which comes off very well in person. Click through to check these out, and come back for much more tomorrow!

Following up from the initial posting of Radio Free Cybertron's tweeted photos from Kojin Ono's Birth of Transformers panel, we've got our gallery of over 80 photos from the event, covering virtually every slide shown. We'll have a recap in some detail a little later, but for now enjoy the look at pieces of design art, photos and other material, some of which has never been seen before!

The official Radio Free Cybertron Twitter account posted a series of pictures from the "Birth of the Transformers" panel today at BotCon 2015, showing off a variety of design work, prototypes and other information - a lot of which is new to us! Keep reading to see for yourself!

Last for tonight in photos of the at-show exclusives from Botcon 2015, we've got the Diaclone-based recolors of Skids and Hoist. Skids, seen previously, is called Burn Out, and the newly revealed tonight Hoist recolor is called Lift-Ticket. Neither feature newly tooled parts, though Sgt Hound's "Targetmaster" figures are intended to accompany this set as "Diaclone Drivers". Thanks to Matt from RFC for lending these to us for photography - click through and check it out!

We've got in-hand photos of one of the two at-show exclusive sets featuring toys based on unreleased G2 Autorollers General Optimus Prime, recolored from Generations Roadbuster, and Sgt Hound from Generations Scoop, featuring a new head sculpt. Check out our gallery of 25+ photos showing the detail of these exclusives, kindly loaned to us for photography by Paul Agnew.

Promising a larger space, TFCon has announced that they will be returning to their 2014 Chicago location at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare for TFCon 2016! The con will take place between October 21st and 23rd. Keep reading to see the announcement image!
