
At Comic-Con, the Transformers team announced that the Transformers Prime First Edition action figure line would be made available at Toys R Us. We’re excited to share with you that
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth will also carry the line.
BigBadToyStore.com will start pre-sell for their Dark Energon exclusive items that were announced at Comic-Con on September 1. Read the full list of what The Transformers Prime First Edition items that will be available at all three of these retailers after the jump.

The TRANSFORMERS PRIME DELUXE Assortment contains all new TRANSFORMERS PRIME-styled figures from Hasbro Studio’s hit TV Series. Featuring an intuitive conversion experience, there are 14 characters in the assortment including BUMBLEBEE, WHEELJACK, and ARCEE. Each figure is sold separately and comes with a signature weapon. Straight from the hit Hasbro Studios animated program Transformers Prime, each Transformers Prime Cyberverse Vehicles includes an exclusive Transformers Prime CYBERVERSE LEGION CLASS ACTION FIGURE. This assortment is the capstone to the Cyberverse world with a light up feature to bring the glow of ENERGON to LEGION and COMMANDER figures and weapons. More news just in thanks to the Transformers Collectors Club. Here we get some first looks at the Transformers GI Joe Crossover Shockwave H.I.S.S. Tank with Destro. This set will be a SDCC 2012 exclusive. After the excitment of the GI Joe Starscream, Hasbro have taken one of our favorite Decepticons and combined him with Destro for a way cool set in clear purple plastic. There little additions like the energon cubes are tiny Soundwave are pretty sweet too. Check out the images after the jump to share your comments on this set.

Thanks to the kind fans at FMH who have posted a report on the Transformers display at the Toy Fair 2012 event going on in the UK this week. Highlights include news on new products coming to the Generations line that is to include 8 new figures. The Transformers Prime Weponizers with Leader class figures that feature 4-modes of play and more. Then there is this new thing they call Optimus Maximus. A transforming figure who's alternate mode is a base for your Cyberverse figures. Check out more details after the jump.

As our
poll shows, Botcon is really all about the action figures and there's really no better oppotunity to shop for Transformers than the Botcon dealer room. With dozens of sellers foffering goods from the around the globe, you can find almost anything and than some in the dealers room. Transformers Prime Matrix of Leadership Optimus Prime. The display includes the packaging, complete with a neck strap. The premium box is also on display. Take a look at the shots after the break!

Live at BotCon 2011, we were able to visit the rather bare
Transformers Prime toy display. The shelves were predominantly empty with Bumblee and Arcee in- and out-of-package. We also get looks at Starscream, but zero packaging in sight. Hopefully throughout the next couple of days, we will get some good news on upcoming
Transformers Prime figures. If we do, we will bring you the news as soon as we hear it! Until then, take a look at the shots in the gallery.

Fun Publications has set the record straight on the BotCon 2011 attendee sets and the numbers that will be available at the convention. There are three sets this year, with Shattered Glass Galvatron and Thundercracker clocking in at 1800 copies, Sidwswipe and Toxitron at 1500, and Autorooper three-pack at 1500. We will have images of the sets soon, so be sure to check back!

The Transformers Collectors Club has provided additional information on the "Matrix of Leadership" Optimus Prime, the upcoming Transformers exclusives for 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, and has also revealed that the second exclusive will be the Ultimate Optimus Prime decked out in premium packaging. Posting on their official website promoting Issue 39 of their Transformers Club Magazine, Fun Publications reveals that the
Ultimate Optimus Prime in "premium packaging which will help to show off the super cool (and large) truck mode with trailer." Read on to learn more...

Fun Publications has announced their third hotel block for this year's event in Pasadena, CA. The Pasadena Courtyard by Marriot is located about six blocks away from the convention site where BotCon 2011 will take place. The previous two blocks at the Sheraton and Hilton hotels have sold out. The Hasbro Star Wars panel at SDCC has revealed the Transformers Star Wars line will continue with their first combination figure. Hans and Chewie can be transformed together to form the Falcon, complete with lights and sound. There will also be re-decos of the Vadar Star Fighter and ARC-170 Clone Wars Clone Pilot making a total of 12 figures released for 2006. These will be available in November 2006. This line will definitely continue into 2007, promises Hasbro. See the panel report and images over at
