The TFWiki has tweeted an image and link to a new trademark filing with the US Patent Office. The trademark? "HasCon" - which of course would be a useful name for a convention dedicated to all
Hasbro products, not just Transformers. The trademark was filed just 6 days ago, right after BotCon, which also amounts to some interesting timing? What does it all mean, and does this mean that the CybertronCon name is no longer in consideration? No way to tell yet, but keep reading to see the details of the filing.

The trademark-watchers over at Transformers@The Moon have posted a curious piece of news this morning: Hasbro has filed a trademark with the US Patent Office for the name "Cybertron Con," which is the name of the official Transformers convention in Asia. It's far too early to tell whether this means a name change for BotCon, a new convention, or simply a "defensive" trademark so no fan group can take it in the US, but at any rate, it's an interesting development! Keep reading for a link to the original story.

Rodimus Prime sends us an interesting rumor about Unicron at OTFCC: This info was passed along to me by a dealer at OTFCC from a Hasbro rep he personally knows. All I can say is he is a dealer who's been to Botcon many times and has only missed a few shows due to medical problems. If I told you who it was 3H would probably ban him from future shows. Unicron will be released at OTFCC and sold by Hasbro themselves for $49.99 plus tax. Read more HERE
