During our time at San Diego Comic-Con 2011, we had the pleasure of taking part in two separate roundtable discussions. The first focused on the overall production of the show with David Hartman (Art Director), Bob Orci (Executive Producer), Jeff Kline (Executive Producer), and Therese Trujillo (Animation Producer). The second was more in-depth about the designs of the show with character designer Jose Lopez, Supervising Producer and Writer Duane Capizzi, Background Supervisor Vince Toyama, and Head of Development at Hasbro Studios Mike Vogel. The roundtables ventures from interesting, to informative, to utter hilarity, so be sure to head in to view the videos of each roundtable and summarized points!

With Transformers BotCon 2011 come to end, Tformers is happy to bring you this roundtable interview with the big guns behind Transformers Prime. What we got was a candid take from the creator on the genesis of the show and and how it came to be one of the most innovative cartoons ever. Read all the details after the jump.

Tformers had the great opportunity to sit down with The Hub's Jeff Kline who is the executive producer and co-developer of the Transformers Prime and GI Joe cartoon shows that have been airing on their new channel. We have just posted our Dealer Room Gallery featuring some of more ad-hoc stuff that goes on at the convention. Over the weekend we will be adding images of fans shopping, rare items, special displays and booths and more. For now get a look at the 6 foot tall Devastator statue and the Transformers Marching band in the dealer room gallery.

TFormers.com caught up with Mark Boudreux, a 30-year veteran designer of boys toys at Hasbro about the expansion of the Titanium line into Transformers. Mark gives us the story on the newest Transformers line that was originally started as a Star Wars line. Titanium produces 3" and 6" figures that complement the main Transformers toy line. Its no surprise that key to the new line's success is its partnership with Don Figueroa, best known as the artist for Transformer comics by IDW. Read on for all the details on these exciting new Transformers. Read More

A long debated subject among the Transformers community has been the issue of Prototypes, Testshots, and the extent to which Hasbro goes in order to prevent these pre-production samples from getting out. I cornered Aaron Archer at BotCon while he was oogling over Viagra Prime's scratch build War Within Grimlock during the judging and got some answers to clear up some of the speculation. Read on for more Q & A.
