The BotCon 2015 Transformers Collectors Club Panel has just completed. Get a look a the many image slides and updates from the panel. We will have report to post soon, in mean time get a look at the design specs for this year's figures and what's to come from the TFCC in near future.




Thanks to ToyDojo, we have some first looks at the Hasbro's Transformers booth that features both the Retail and SDCC Devastator figures. We also get some looks at the individual Constructicons, and the SDCC Exclusive Combiner Hunters figures Arcee, Chromia, and Windblade set. Read on to see the images now. The official BotCon 2015 facebook page has given us the jump on this years Convention exclusive figures with looks at the toy case including the boxed set and confirmation of the three different show Souvenir packs that are Generation 2, Diaclone and WARUDER packes. We have posted the images and the details for them all including looks at the Convention t-shirt, ballcap, and comi. Read on to see all the details now.




Two new images have shown up from BotCon 2015! One is of the Kreon boxset available at the show, with a theme of "Earth's Most Wanted." The set is an assortment of entertainingly semi-obscure G1 characters plus fan-favorite Sentinel Prime and Headmaster from Transformers Animated! Secondly, we have an image of the art print from the Frank Welker VIP package, which is a spectacular piece of art by Casey Coller with colors by Josh Perez. Keep reading to see both!




Thanks to forums member Gema who has dropped by to share in-hand images of the Botcon 2015 - General Optimus Prime. Get a look at his pictorial review now of the remake of the Transformers Generations Roadbuster as the unreleased G2 General Optimus Prime.




Radio Free Cybertron's Diecast has reported in that the attendee giveaway figure this year is Zaptrap! Based on the Generations Legends-class Skrapnel mold, I'm sure we'll have more photos and info on this figure as the weekend draws nearer. Until then, keep reading to see the first photos!




Seibertron (by way of Autobase Aichi) has posted images of the BotCon 2015 Customizing Class figure! Another use of the Orion Pax mold, this black-and-purple LioConvoy variant is known as "Galva Convoy," and is based off of the Lucky Draw figure known as "Galvatron Lio Convoy." Gema of the Black Plastic Life blog has posted a pictorial review of Combiner Hunters Chromia! An extensive recolor of the Generations figure which was itself a heavy retool of Transformers Prime Deluxe Arcee, Chromia is part of the SDCC exclusive 3-pack due to be featured in a IDW one-shot this July. TFormers forums member gema stopped by to alert us to a pictorial review he posted on his website, the appropriate-to-this-toy Black Plastic Life. The figure is the recently-discovered black recolor of Generations IDW Skids, which apes one of the many color schemes seen on the Skids mold in the pre-Transformers Diaclone line. IDW artist Matt Frank has posted to his Facebook showing off his new print for BotCon 2015! Colored by Josh Perez, Frank's take on Deathsaurus is appropriately enough much more in the style of his acclaimed work on Godzilla than his Spotlight: Trailcutter style. Keep reading to see!




Artist Josh Burcham has posted the finished image of the Wreckers print he's bringing with him to BotCon 2015! In addition to the final colored images, Burcham posted in-progress pictures of the print, and even streamed the penciling and coloring processes. A website specializing in questionably-obtained toys has posted images of a black recolor of Generations IDW Skids. It's unknown exactly what this figure represents or where it's intended to be sold... but given what it was listed with, we have a few clues. Keep reading for more details!




Joe Moscone, formerly the PR agent that handled Hasbro's entertainment brands such as Transformers, GI Joe, etc., is auctioning off his collection of figure for charity. For the benefit of Receptions For Research: The Greg Olsen Foundation, Moscone is auctioning off a fairly impressive collection heavy on convention and SDCC exclusives. Most notably for Transformers fans, he's auctioning off the reasonably rare OTFCC Sentinel Maximus figure. Keep reading for more info!
