So, SDCC exclusive Primitive Skateboarding Optimus Prime came and went really quickly on HasbroToyShop yesterday, and we at TFormers hope that most everyone who wanted one was able to get it. But with Titans Return
Siege on Cybertron shipping the same day with Magnus Prime, we got to thinking about the amazing variety of uses and retoolings that mold family has seen over the two short years it's existed. So keep reading for a handy infographic laying out the history of the Ultra Magnus mold family!
The Nottingham Robot Company
has posted images to their Facebook page of a new upgrade kit they'll be pre-releasing exclusively at TFNation! It's a simple kit but a good one: a pair of hand-chromed engine blocks convert any two Titan Masters into engine blocks styled after Mega and Giga, Overlord's G1 Powermasters/Godmasters! A head block is also included for Overlord's faceplate, which promises putting the face "in a more prominent position" and with "an easter egg for longtime comic book fans." TFNation has announced their very first convention exclusive! Based on G1 character Glyph - herself introduced at a BotCon 15 years ago - CT001TFN Rune is produced by MAAS toys based on their Cybertech CT001 Skiff figure, which is a Bumblebee made in the image of his Cybertronian alt-mode as seen in G1 cartoon episode "More Than Meets The Eye, Part 1." Hasbro Pulse has updated following the Transformers brand presentation at SDCC 2017. From basic art to establish the desired appearance of a toy, through CAD models and all the way to the familiar grey prototype stage, we've got looks at Dragonstorm, Nitro, the brand new Bumblebee coming in wave 3, and more! We've mirrored the images, click through and take a look.

Our reporters on the ground in San Diego have sent back a ton of photos of everything out on display for preview night at SDCC. Among the showings at the Hasbro booth are of course The Last Knight products. But it's not just a simple display lineup, as they've actually got a fairly neat looking diorama constructed to really show some of these figures off! We've got plenty more to come still, so stay tuned for continuing updates, and don't forget to check the gallery below!
It's a Wednesday night in the middle of July, and that means it's time for the San Diego Comic Con Preview Night! Our team at the show is hard at work snapping photos of the Transformers displays currently staged at the Hasbro booth. It doesn't seem like any surprises have been snuck in just yet, but that should hopefully change by early tomorrow afternoon after the Transformers panel. We'll be covering that event as it happens, so keep right here with us for all the latest on the anticipated first reveal of Power of The Primes! And click through for our gallery below!
TFCon is happening now in Toronto! One of the biggest fan-run Transformers conventions and currently the biggest Transformers convention in North America by default, TFCon is also one of the major outlets for unofficial third-party offerings. Credited to Harris Ars on Facebook, we've got a few new photos showing the black recolor of Titans Return Powermaster Optimus Prime that will be an SDCC exclusive this summer under co-branding with Primitive Skateboarding. These new images show off the brand new ramps, rail, and "hoverboard" accessories included for the Shreddicus Maximus Titan Master, as well as displaying the Optimus figure along with Nucleon Quest Super Convoy, the exclusive black recolor of the original Powermaster Optimus Prime reissue from years ago. You can find all of the photos in the gallery below!
Planet Iacon earlier this morning shared photos from Ming-zhe Li of a new products display at a retail location in Taiwan. Apart from the unexpected reveal of the Clones Two-Pack, all of Titans Return wave 5 is there, including confirmation of Wolfwire reshipping as part of that Deluxe assortment. Some The Last Knight toys are shown, but more interesting is a shelf with the previously revealed SDCC exclusives which are joined by one other set we haven't seen linked to the event so far. Thanks to @gadepon and AmiAmi Hobby News we have some additional, clearer images of the Legends reveals from Tokyo Toy Show. Now with closer looks at the Targetmasters for Misfire and Doublecross (who is carrying a partner that resembles Blurr's Targetmaster Haywire). We also get to see detail of Sixshot's new helmet, and Broadside's carrier mode, though that does look like an unstickered Hasbro sample as a placeholder - though the robot may actually represent TakaraTomy's version, but it's hard to tell. You can try to puzzle it out with us by checking out the full gallery below!
Coming from Twitter users @gadepon once again as well as @turbomaster01, we've got images of the just-revealed LG-EX God Ginrai set from Tokyo Toy Show. This set, which appears to be planned for release in November with a preorder period beginning as early as June 6th will of course include Godbomber and Super Ginrai, one or both of which may feature new vac-metal chrome details, though the display piece is probably the current retail samples. But what's included for certain are two new Titan Masters - Minerva and Cab, which look like they're probably exclusive to this 16,000 Yen set. Click through to see the photos!
