For those who prefer their Dinobot leaders in a less warm color profile and their Optimus Primes fully painted, ToysRUs has the set you've been looking for! The Platinum Edition set of the Leader-class figures is now up on ToysRUs' website at a price of $109.99. The XMas goodies are already arriving at CostCo in the San Francisco Bay Area with the arrival of the Bumblebee Lite [Light?] Guardian by Tech 4 Kids. The people who brought us Mash Em's and other AOE licensed items. This is night light accessory aimed at young children who apparently cannot spell yet. This was on display with their Liteforce collection that includes Marvel Spiderman and My Little Pony that are on sale for $9.99.




A member of the 2005 Forums has sighted and purchased the Evolution of Optimus Prime 2-pack that's exclusive to ToysRUs. The set features the frequently-reissued Classics Voyager Optimus Prime mold in a very Henkei! Henkei! color scheme, and Age of Extinction Voyager Evasion Mode Optimus Prime in a flame deco reminiscent of every body Optimus Prime uses in the Transformers film except this one. Seibertron has posted photographic evidence of the Wal-Mart exclusive Cyberverse Legion/Legends assortment hitting retail stores. The assortment includes Stinger, Grimlock, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Stinger is a recolor of a Movie Bumblebee Legends figure, while Grimlock is a recolor of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters' Cyberverse Rippersnapper. The assortment is priced at $5.96 per figure. Finally, sightings of the Age of Extinction 2-packs at Walmart! Revealed a good while back, these 2-packs feature pairings of Cyberverse figures with recolors of larger Basic/Scout figures from years past. Optimus Prime is packed with Grimlock (Energon Cruellock recolor,) Bumblebee comes with Strafe (Beast Wars Basic Terrorsaur recolor), and Stinger (Cyberverse Bumblebee recolor) comes with Slug (Beast Wars Neo Guiledart recolor). The sets are priced at $14.96 each. Good hunting!




A member of the 2005 boards has sighted the Kmart exclusive Platinum Edition 2-pack of Generations Voyager Evasion Mode Optimus Prime and Grimlock in the wild. If you've been looking to pay $60 for two chromed-up Voyagers, this is your set! Though admittedly Evasion Mode Prime does look a bit better in robot mode for being shinied-up. Some new listings are just up at BBTS for the Takara Tomy Transformers Lost Age (Age of Extinction Japan) figures. New announcements this month include LA14 Battle Command Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Powerhouse Set at $79.99 as well as LA15 Battle Attack Grimlock, LA16 Battle Attack Slag, LA17 Battle Attack Snarl and LA18 Battle Attack Galvatron, each at $19.99. The Targets in Orange Country are stocking the remote controlled Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime figures. Japanese retail site Mameg Yorai have posted pre-order listings for a two waves of the Tomica Transformers Queue Series die-cast cars that will be released in November and December of 2014. These cars have often been released to support current TV shows and movies, but this time Tomica may be offering Age of Extinction along with some G1 throwback listings for an 86 Rodimus, Fairlady Z Prowl, and Countach Lambor. It is not sure if these are repaints of the AOE cars or all new molds. Read on for the complete list.
