spoiler-full review of the book. The review provides a very quick overview of the movie and provides some spoilers and plot-twists to go along with it. If you really want to be

Amazon has updated the product page for the
Transformers Dark of the Moon novel by Peter David to add the book description, which reveals a little about what we should expect in the film when it hits theaters July 1, 2011. "All humankind was watching that fateful day in 1969. But only a handful knew the real mission behind America’s triumph in space," the description starts out. "Now the treacherous Decepticons have set their sights on unearthing government secrets. The only hope of averting a crisis rests on the Autobots—yet who knows what remains in the shadows, hidden from man and machine?" The book hits book shelves near you on May 24, 2011.

Amazon, the online seller of pretty much everything, has posted some information about the
TransformersvDark of the Moon: A Novel, the adaptation of the film of the same name coming out this summer. The book is written by
Peter David, as he announced back in December of 2010, only to announce a short time afterwards that it is complete. The book will hit book stores on May 24, 2011 and will be 400 pages long, according to the
Amazon product listing. Published by Del Rey, the book be sold for $7.99 on the website. It does not seem like the book will have an eBook variant.

Peter David has
announced that Del Rey has hired him to produce the novel version of
Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Posting on the blog on his official website, Mr. David says that he is currently working on the book but cannot disclose any plot information due to a non-disclosure agreement. Mr. David's credits include book adaptations of the three live-action Spider-Man films, and The Incredible Hulk.

Thanks to Kaiser over at HK-TF.com who has posted scans from August 17 release of Transformers Generations 2009 Volume 3 from publisher Million Publishing. The last release in the series covers includes information about the ghost Starscream story, the mail-away exclusives Skids and Screech, coverage of the Japanese Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen line, images and information from Tokyo premiere of ROTF, design sketches for Alternity Bumblebee and a prototype showing a possible Human Alliance Ratchet is/was on the drawing board.

Wizard has
released that some additional information that will appear in Toyfare #140, which came out today
among other things, will feature an interview with
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen producer Lorenzo DiBonaventura, and a look at Hasbro’s upcoming movie toys. Hopefully this will help those of you who were on the fence about whether or not to get the darn thing.

Alan Dean Foster will be penning the "Transformers The Veiled Threat," according
Del Rey Online. The book is a 304-page movie tie-in and will be released on April 28, 2009 for $7.99. A cover is currently unavailable, but is available for pre-order on the Del Rey website as well as a couple of
major book
retailers.

Amazon.com now has three Transformers Revenge of the Fallen books listed for sale from Reader's Digest and other authors. The titles include: "Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Mix and Match," "Revenge of the Fallen I am Optimus prime," and "Revenge of the Fallen Coloring And Activity."

Simon Furman has
announced his most recent contribution to Transformers literature in the form of Top Trumps Transformers published by Haynes Publishing. Retailing for $9.95 (£4.99), the 192 page pocket-sized book features illustrations, profiles, and detailed specs, which make it "the first truly comprehensive guide to the movie," says Mr. Furman. He says that his book was inspired by the "Transformers" cards by collectibles company
