Universal Orlando Resort announced that its next blockbuster attraction will be the widely-popular TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D. The groundbreaking ride – created under license from Hasbro, Inc. and based on its iconic Transformers brand – will bring the intergalactic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons to Universal Studios Florida in May 2nd 2013.

The groundbreaking ride – created under license from Hasbro, Inc. and based on its iconic Transformers brand – will bring the intergalactic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons to Universal Studios Florida in summer 2013.

On November 1, 2012, Universal's Cinematic Spectacular lagoon show was interrupted by a transmission from Optimus Prime and Megatron, announcing that Transformers: The Ride 3D will be opening at Universal Orlando in Summer 2013. Things are already heating up for Transformers 4 with some news about a new campaign that will be going on for this years Superbowl with a user created Doritos commercial competition that will grant the winner a chance to work with Micheal Bay on Tranformers 4. The consumer who creates the top-ranked Doritos commercial aired during the Super Bowl -- as determined by USA TODAY'S Ad Meter consumer poll of best-liked Super Bowl commercials -- wins the chance to work with Bay on the next installment of the Transformers movie franchise, to be filmed in 2013. Paramount is hitting them high on TV and low with street posters to promote the Transformers Dark of Moon film opening on Tuesday! They have teamed up with artist Jesse Phillips who has created some exquisite limited edition posters just for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Only three thousand copies of the posters be given out to attendees of special Tuesday June 28 screenings at Arclight Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA. Later on, fans can purchase a variant edition that will offered by MondoNews this Wednesday June 29.

Paramount Pictures has teamed with Yahoo! Movies (movies.yahoo.com), the leading website for movie trailers, news and information, to present the TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON movie premiere live from New York City. The live red carpet event will begin airing online, June 28, at 5:30 p.m. EDT. Fans can watch together and share across their social networks, as the red carpet event is streamed free.
