Third Party toy maker Planet X have announced plans for their new Project Genesis release that looks to be a homage to the Transformers War for Cybertron Omega Supreme character robot figure with some vague looks at a large hulking robot figure and the unmistakable 3-pronged robot claw-hand, we can see there may be more than meets the Omega Supreme coming our way soon. Read the company annoucemen and images after the jump for the full reveal.
Third Party toys maker Dream Maker debuts with two new kits that will breathe new life into your War For Cybertron action figures. They have posted images of their upgrade kits for the deluxe class Optimus Prime and Megatron figures called: Warriors From Cybertron. The kits are aimed at adding a bevy of new weapons and armaments to both character's arsenals. Lots of guns and swords and stuff that look nicely done. They even worked up what looks like a small Matrix for Optimus Prime's figure. Check out the images of the Warriors From Cybertron and more details on DREAM MAKER after the jump.
One of my favorite video reviewers Peaugh has posted a review for one of my favorite upcoming releases. The Transformers: War For Cybertron deluxe class Optimus Prime action figure. It has been a mysterious toy of sorts with the way the chest plate works on the robot and vehicle modes. There's lots to meet your eye on this toy and hopefully this review will give you some new / more appreciation for this Convoy.
Thanks to S250, we have some comparison images of Transformers: War for Cybertron
Optimus Prime and Classic Optimus Prime figures. The robot modes are comporable but the War for Cybertron
vehicle mode is a bit smaller than the Voyager Classics version. Take a look at additional images including the back of the War for Cybertron
figure (sans head) and two comparison images of the figures in vehicle mode.

The Transformers Collectors Club has posted the cover to their 31st issue of their club magazine, and it reveals the Transformers: War For Cybertron
Bumblebee figure in robot mode. The image reveals a Bumblebee which is very similar to the video game counterpart, albeit a little more gold. The posting on the club's official website also reveals that the article will spotlight a Q&A session with Activision. A future issue of the club magazine will also feature Jim Sorenson, who will provide a sneak peek of the products available this year.
Update: Transformers Collectors' Club has officially released the Bumblebee image that was previously reported here. More information on the reveal of issue #31 is available in this article.
So after a couple of reports
that the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron
video game from Activision and High Moon Studios would be accompanied by a toyline from Hasbro, Inc., it has been officially confirmed that this is indeed true. The official statement was obtained by Game Informer, who requested comment from Hasbro, Inc. Read about it all after the jump.
As Activision promised, there really is More than Meets the Eye with Transformers War For Cybertron. Thanks to S250 who has posted a brand new image of an Optimus Prime action figure that further supports the rumor that the new video game is likely going to have a new toy line to go with it. The good news is this is a totally new mold and class with a lot more function and details than the Optimus Prime toy seen already.
GenZhao of KOToys have posted some new images of Transformers that are described as "prototypes of toys in development." Without much more information on what the figures are, there's much to speculate about. The figures appear to Cybertronian in nature with exotic stylings that don't echo any production cars we know of. Could these be the new transformers Hasbro hinted at recently? What do you think they are?
