The Tranformers Rishing fan page on Facebook have shared news that DeNA's Transformers Rising Mobile Game will be taken offline at the end of this month, November 30th. This closure follows the Transformers Age of Extinction Movie game that was shuttered in September. Meanwhile, the Transformers: Battle Tactics game appears to still be in play with a new game now in Open Beta titled, Transformers: Frontiers.
After being playable for roughly as many months as it was years
in development, gamesindustry.biz reports that Jagex has pulled the plug on Transformers Universe, the MMO turned MOBA turned whatever they wound up calling it. The Runescape creator will move on to developing its own IP once again; the move is not entirely unexpected after a recent round of layoffs. Keep reading for more details!
The official Transformers Universe Facebook page has posted a slick piece of concept art for Sparkscape, one of the new characters listed yesterday. Sparkscape is a fire-wielding Autobot who also has the ability to repair himself. Click the title to see the art!
Jagex have revealed two new characters for their upcoming MOTA, Transformers Universe. Sparkscape is an Autobot flame-weapon user with the ability to repair himself, and Diabla is a Decepticon with both disruption capabilities and a rocket launcher for long-range attack. The Transformers Universe homepage has just posted introductory videos to two new characters for the upcoming MOTA game: Macro, a stealthy grenade-lobbing Autobot, and Flatline, a Decepticon who is part Medic and part Thor. Full bios and videos below!

Hoping to demystify this game's history, Tformers recently had an opportunity to ask Jagex's David Nicholson, VP of Transformers Universe some questions about it. Unfortunately, their answers only confused things more with switching the mode of the game AGAIN for the third time from MMO, to MOBA, and what they are now calling a MOTA (Massively Online Tactical Action Game). Following the second report of griffin over at OzFormers, we have new details on the many Transformers Games that will be coming soon. His report names a number of them that we know about already, but it does bring up two names we reported previously
as a Hasbro trademarks. It seems that "Autobots Supreme" and "Spirits Rising" are not toys, but games. The thrid name, "Megatron Returns" seems to relate to the movie-verse. For which, the new listings reveal not just a Movie 4, but a Movie 5 game too. See the complete list of games below.

Sega Amusements have posted new images of their Transformers: Human Alliance Arcade 55 inch Theater Game. This is their second system made with the following features that are different from the 42 inch Deluxe Game including: two players capability, Bumblebee theme cabinet, 55 inch LED theater display, five cities to defend and Free Transformers Human Alliance standee included with display.
