The battle to protect mankind from the evil Decepticons rages on in the Transformers Prime video game from Activision Publishing, Inc. Created for kids and based on the award winning animated television show produced by Hasbro Studios seen in over 170 countries and airing on The Hub television network in the U.S., Transformers Prime allows fans to take on the roles of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Autobot Ratchet and Bulkhead as they fight through heroic battles against the Decepticons all around the world.




A new Transformers Prime “Rivalries” Wii U Game trailer has been released by Activision. The new video game is a Nintendo console/handheld exclusive, with the Wii, DS and 3DS versions slated for release on October 30th. Get a preview look at another cinematic showing Megatron weilding his customary threats of conquest and tryanny with the threat of a new weapon, Dark Energon. Character appearances include Megatron, Optimus Prime, Knock Out , Ratchet, Arcee, Black Airachnia, Starscream, Bulkhead, and others you can watch now.




Transformers Prime Tuesday is back! The official Transformers page have shared a new image from the Transformers Prime game that Activision will be releasing to Nintendo the Nintendo Wii, DS and 3DS game consoles on October 30, 2012 and to the the Wii U console November 18, 2012. See the new screenshot for an in-game look at Arcee blazing.




Activision's current announced Wii U line-up includes Transformers Prime! Interact with TRANSFORMERS characters like never before – Designed for the unique interactivity of the Wii U™, the game allows fans to tilt their gamepad to steer BUMBLEBEE through a collapsing canyon, upgrade OPTIMUS PRIME’s combat abilities through their gamepad touchscreens, and more. Thanks to Transformers facebook group Transfans Malaysia (TransMY), we have an update on Hasbro's Quest for Energon promotion they have just launched at Toy R Us stores in Malaysia. The promotion uses a special iOS app to allow iPhones and other devices to scan special Transformers Markers that are placed in stores. The Quest for Energon app activates 3D characters to play the game and unlock 4 different characters. Read on to see more details on the Transformers Prime Quest for the Energon game promotion.




With Transformers Fall of Cybertron out of the gates, Activision are swinging the camera around to their next Transformers franchise release, Transformers Prime The Game, with the launch of an official web site that features the teaser video trailer that we saw last May. Just in are some new details on the Transformers Battle mobile game that is to be released by DeNA on its Mobage social gaming platform. The write up posted on International Business Times describes some of the trading card game play functions that will allow friends to battle with each other while they collect Transformers and create a team of powerful robot warriors. There will be 100s of characters on deck was well as new ones that will be added each day via the game's Space Bridge. The official website of the Transformers Universe Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game has been updated with a new splash page and for gamers to join the Autobot or Decepticon army and subscribe to updates. Visitors are invited to create an account as either an Autobot or Decepticon to possibly be invited to the beta testing, which is currently ongoing. Take a look at TransformersUniverse.com.




Just in is a new look at the Transformers Prime: The Game. The screen shot just added to the transformers pages offers a new look at Autobot Bumblebee who will likely be front and center the game. This Transformers Prime Tuesday the official page have published a new game play screenshot of Optimus Prime and Megatron in battle from the new Transformers Prime video game. Look for the game this October 31st from Activision. Check out the image after the jump for the full view.




Activision has sent us over a batch of assets for the upcoming Transformers Prime The Game including box art as well as a bunch of screenshots to show off the game. Scheduled to drop on October 30, 2012, Transformers Prime The Game features the voice cast from the television series and will be released on Nintendo Wii, 3DS, and DS. While Transformers-related news coming out of E3 has been mainly dominated by Transformers Fall of Cybertron and Metroplex, Nintendo has included the first gameplay footage from Transformers Prime The Game in their Nintendo 3DS software showcase. The video shows battling, driving, and transforming sequences. All of the Transformers Prime voice actors have been signed onto the game to provide an experience reminiscent to the television show. The Transformers Prime The Game Debut Trailer that was shown at BotCon 2012 has been posted online by IGN. The trailer shows off some in-game footage from the Nintendo Wii; the game will also be released on the Nintendo 3DS and DS handheld systems. All of the television series voice actors will lend their voices to the game. The developers are targeting a holiday 2012 release.




During the Transformers Fall of Cybertron panel hosted by Activision, the guys revealed some information that is to come for their Transformers Fall of Cybertron and Transformers Prime video games. Matt "Tieg" Tieger provided some more details of the multiplayer customization, which will allow for "unpredecented ability to craft your own Transformer."
