While physical media enthusiasts will have to wait until March 13, 2012 to get theirs, digital file fans will be able to get the Transformers Prime (Music From the Animated Series) album a week early. The album is availble right now on Amazon and iTunes stores for $8.99 and $11.99, respectively. Individual tracks are priced at $0.99 at both stores.

No matter how the Transformers Prime cartoon storylines are viewed, one of the things that many agree upon is the epic and cinematic score that assists with the theme song and various scenes throughout the first season, and you can now own it for yourself. An Amazon pre-order page has appeared for Transformers Prime (Music From the Animated Series) as well as the full track listings. Several months back, Brian Tyler, composer for the show, made these songs available online, but they were quickly pulled. This track listing, as well as order, is nearly identical. Take a look at the track listing and a link for pre-order in the full article. The album is set for a March 20, 2012 release.

We're still posting news from BotCon 2011. Just up is a video walk though of the Making of Transformers Prime Display that was in the convention hall. Get quick run down of the show and how it was created from concept to the full character models for all your favorite Prime characters. Watch the clip after the jump.

Soundtrack composer Brian Tyler has updated is blog with an announcement that the soundtrack to the Transformers: Prime cartoon series will be released on CD in the near future. The blog states the following: "Brian's score from the animated mini-series Transformers: Prime will be released soon (date & details TBD)" Keep it tuned here on Tformers for more updates as they happen.
