The Hub Network today announced a slate of new programming for the 2013-‘14 television season that includes four new series, two Hub Original Family Movies, and nine returning series. Set to debut starting this summer, the lineup continues the network’s strategy of building a schedule with programs based on well-known brands featuring popular and respected names in the entertainment space. The announcement was made today by Margaret Loesch, President and CEO of The Hub, the fastest growing children’s cable network.

The have announced their March programming schedule for Transformers Prime Season 3 Beast Hunters that will being on March 22, 2013. The series will begin with the first and second episodes called "Darkmouth, NV" that will show on the 22nd followed by "Scattered" that will air on March 29th. The writing has been on the wall for a long time. First the show was moved to the notorious Friday Night death-nell spot for shows about to die. Then Jeffrey Combs, the voice of Transformers Prime's Ratchet, let it slip that Season 3 has cut short to wrap things up. Finally, the official word comes down from Kidscreen magazine that Season 3 Beast Hunters will end this year after just 13 episodes ending Transformers Prime when it finishes this spring to be replaced by a new Animated series in 2014. Herecomplex over at the LA Times have posted an interview with Transformers Prime executive producer Jeff Kline. They get into the nitty gritty of working on a new cartoon based on a classic kids show, the ins and outs of working with a the complicated "mythnology" behind the Transformers and even some juicy bits about what we are going to see in Season 3. Those who liked the Orion Pax turn around, will be interested hear there will be more characters changing sides. Even more interesting, is this mention, and an image, of some connection being bade between Earth and Cybertron.

The AT&T U-verse online entertainment guide has been updated with some new details on the Transformers Prime Episode 26 "Darkest Hour" cartoon airing on November 2nd. The season draws to a close with the final season finale show, and once again, we find ourselves staring at Megatron's meniacal plan to defeat the Autobots once and for all.
