While we'd previously heard a cutoff date of January 1st for G1 and other Hasbro shows, The Wrap reports that Hasbro and Netflix have been unable to come to terms - a situation more or less confirmed by a Tweet from @HasbroNews. Japanese site Hobby Collection has posted a list of upcoming releases from TakaraTomy from the end of April through June of 2015. The Transformers Adventure heading continues to play host to both RID 2015 and a mix of other items including Generations figures not falling under the Legends Series in Japan. The official Transformers Facebook page posted a photo gallery "checklist" of all the numbered toys released as the Thrilling 30, the thirty special toys geared more to the older fanbase and meant to help commemorate the line turning thirty years old in 2014. Variety reports that the Hub will, as previously rumored, become the Discovery Family Channel on October 13th. Discovery will be taking a majority share in the network, but Hasbro will retain a daytime block of programming for its shows such as Transformers Rescue Bots, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and presumably the upcoming Transformers Robots In Disguise. Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun reports that Polygon Pictures has walked away from the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards with four awards, two for Transformers Prime Beast Hunters. The other two were for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and between the two series Polygon has taken the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program award for the past three years running. Composer Kevin Manthei (Invader Zim) revealed on his Tumblr today that he would be co-scoring next year's Transformers: Robots In Disguise animated series with fellow composer and fellow Kevin, Kevin Kiner (CSI: Miami, Star Wars: Clone Wars). Keep reading for the full announcement!




Transformers@The Moon has unearthed new Transformers-related trademark applications filed with the US Patent Office, and there's no way these could be anything but the names for the Angry Birds Transformers. Meteor Operation has posted images to Facebook of the ZF-002 Aristocratic Creature Huntsman upgrade kit for the original Voyager Beast Hunters Optimus Prime. This upgrade provides Prime with a battle-masked face as well as his gigantic chainguns shown in the Beast Hunters series. Zenith Forge is making the set available in two color schemes, one gold and black, and a limited edition black and silver chrome version. Click through for photos!




DMY has released pictures of their Pharaonic Upgrade Kit for Prime Voyager Megatron, which features a new head as well as new, more accurate forearms that include an equally accurate arm cannon with retractable blade! Also included is a scabbard for Dr. Wu's Tyrant Sword accessory, better known in Transformers Prime as the Dark Saber. Keep reading to see the photos!




Polygon Pictures International's President and CEO Shuzo Shiota has announced on Twitter that PPI will be responsible for the animation of next year's Robots In Disguise cartoon. In addition to the animation for Transformers Prime, Polygon has worked on a variety of TV shows and games including Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Tron: Uprising. Click the title for the quote!




Deadline reports that Margaret Loesch, founding CEO and President of the Hub Network, will leave her position at the end of the year. What this means for the Hub is unknown at the moment, but Deadline offers plenty of rumor and speculation as to what could happen. More details in the full article!




Artist Ken Christiansen, who has done a number of covers for IDW as well as much concept art for Transformers Prime, has announced on his blog that he will be attending BotCon 2014! Facebook user Kiya Hayashi has posted a back-of-package image of a new Protectobots 3-pack which also shows a second set featuring the other 2 Protectobots. We've got Prime Ratchet as First Aid, Cyberverse Arcee as Groove and Beast Hunters Smokescreen as Streetsmart AKA Streetwise. The second set features Grappel in Inferno colors as Hot Shot, and Revenge of the Fallen Blazemaster as Blades. Click the title for the image!




Amazon has posted many new product photos that should indicate final plastic colors and paint detailing for upcoming toys. The first waves of 2014's reduced complexity Beast Hunters Deluxes and Voyagers have been updated, including Twinstrike, Windrazor, Smokescreen, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and predaking. Notably, Amazon lists the Voyager Optimus at a price of $27.99 on preorder, suggesting that a small price increase may occur at general retail for these toys which are much more massive than their standard Voyager counterparts. TVShowsonDVD.com has a solicitation for a new Transformers Prime DVD release, collecting four episodes specially focused on Bumblebee. This DVD is set for release on February 25th, and Shout Factory's online store currently has it for preorder at $9.99. The included episodes are not named, but the presence of Will Friedle in the voice cast suggest one episode being the finale of the Transformers Prime TV series. Read the full release below.
