Amazon has posted many new product photos that should indicate final plastic colors and paint detailing for upcoming toys. The first waves of 2014's reduced complexity Beast Hunters Deluxes and Voyagers have been updated, including Twinstrike, Windrazor, Smokescreen, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and predaking. Notably, Amazon lists the Voyager Optimus at a price of $27.99 on preorder, suggesting that a small price increase may occur at general retail for these toys which are much more massive than their standard Voyager counterparts. TVShowsonDVD.com has a solicitation for a new Transformers Prime DVD release, collecting four episodes specially focused on Bumblebee. This DVD is set for release on February 25th, and Shout Factory's online store currently has it for preorder at $9.99. The included episodes are not named, but the presence of Will Friedle in the voice cast suggest one episode being the finale of the Transformers Prime TV series. Read the full release below. Thanks to Twitter user trafes20120505 who has posted some new product listings for Takara Tomy's Transformers GO! series that will be bringing the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters to Japan. The listings for the upcoming releases through to September 2013 show the announced products and a number of new releases G08 - G21 that will be coming in August and September of 2013. In the season-three premiere episode, the survival of Optimus Prime is in doubt after Megatron’s destruction of the Autobot base on Earth, while the separated members of Team Prime try to reconnect after being scattered to the wind to prevent detection. The final 13 episodes will see Optimus Prime and his team face their greatest challenge yet in a new foe dedicated to the destruction of the Autobots — and potentially, planet Earth.

Polygon Pictures Inc., Japan's leading CG production house, said it plans to establish a joint company with a Malaysian digital animation studio to produce the third season of the animated TV series "Transformers Prime." Polygon Pictures and Silver Ant Sdn. Bhd. plan to form Silver Ant PPI Sdn. Bhd. in January that will Produce Beast Hunters in Malaysia.




Weakness in its boys and preschool categories globally and the stronger dollar pushed toy maker Hasbro Inc.’s third-quarter net income down by 4 percent. But the Pawtucket, R.I.-based company’s adjusted results topped Wall Street’s forecasts on Monday, and it remains confident heading into the critical holiday season, which is when toy makers can earn up to 40 percent of annual revenue. The softest category was boys, which was hurt by expected drop-offs in sales of Transformers and Beyblade, a spinning top game.




The Transformers Prime Arms Micron AM-16 Jet Vehicon could be a Takara Tomy exclusive mold and will not see a United States, release, similar to AM-12 Breakdown. PoweredConvoy of the AllSpark offers an image of the copyright information of the Jet Vehicon figure that only references Tomy (Takara Tomy is noted only as Tomy outside of Japan). The Hub has announced that Transformers Prime will return with brand-new episodes on Saturday, August 25, 2012! With the Season 2 hiatus following the four-episode cliffhanger of Bulkhead's devastating attack, we will finally get to know his fate. It is unknown when the new episodes will air, but the original timeslot was 8:30PM Eastern/5:30PM Pacific. The channel currently airs reruns at 3PM Eastern/Noon Pacific.




Hasbro, Inc's released their earnings for the second quarter today and has reported that their net income has dropped 25% when compared to the same period last year due to soft game sales and a drop in the boys' segment. The company reported that sales in the games and boys' segments each dropped eight percent in the quarter, with the latter category dragged down by Transformers and Beyblades. The bright spots are Marvel products due to the high profile Marvel films out this year and Entertainment...Continue reading...




Hasbro UK plans to release Transformers Prime Deluxes Kup and Rumble when wave 5 hits in September, about the same time as the United States release, according to Kapow Toys. There is some conflicting information, as product listings from Kapow as well as site sponsors TFSource and Big Bad Toy Store list the figure as Ironhide, although at BotCon 2012 and San Diego Comic Con 2012 all reference Kup.
