Thanks to Tformers sponsor TFsource we have some new information on the Takara Tomy Transformers Generations TG23 Titan Class Metroplex action figure and some of the differences between it and the Hasbro version. According to Tfsource, the Metroplex action figures will be different shades of white, with more guns, and the addion of chromed metal parts on the Takara version. Thanks to news and images on the Cyber Gundam Blog we have word from TakaraTomy on new Transformers Fall of Cybertron Data Disk (Cassettes) sets. Soon as I saw the Tape Bots were back, I knew we would get all the classic G1 characters and here they are. Takara will offering the figures in 4-pags instead of two like Hasbro has chosen. The TG-15 Autobot set inlcudes Eject, Ramhorn, Rewind, and Sundor. The TG-16 Decepticon set will include of Frenzy (blue), Rat Bat, Ravage, and Rumble (red). Look for these guys to be priced at 2,980 Yen / $37 USD with a release in Japan set for April 27, 2013. Get a look at the images below for more information.

New 3rd patty group, Lucky Rodgers have updated their Facebook page with 2 new kits for either the RTS Wreck Gar mold or Generations Junkheap. Great news for all of you army builders (like myself :) ) The first is JK-01M Medic, Followed by JK-01W Warrior. Thanks to the kind fans at FMH who have posted a report on the Transformers display at the Toy Fair 2012 event going on in the UK this week. Highlights include news on new products coming to the Generations line that is to include 8 new figures. The Transformers Prime Weponizers with Leader class figures that feature 4-modes of play and more. Then there is this new thing they call Optimus Maximus. Looks like Dr Wu's are busy working on a new Transformers accessory kit that will include upgrades that appear to be missiles for the Ravage figure and a gun for Hound. Both of these appear to be made as Generation 1 homages that will likely go with deluxe class Generations, Reveal The Shield, Movie Trilogy or other Classic action figures.
