Thanks to Primeultimus and Savage Dragon of the Seibertron and TFW forums, We have news and images of the Transformers Reveal The Shield Legends Figure in Age of Extinction packaging that were found at the Family Dollar stores in Florida. It appears Hasbro isn't wasting any time to roll out their figures in the new packaging. Fans should be able to find these for $6 USD. Not sure if when they will be hitting stores in other states. Leave a comment with your sightings below.
Following the news on the e-Hobby Exclusive Magnificus figure, we have images of the actual action figure. As expected the toy is a repaint of the Reveal the Shield Perceptor with a new head sculpt in black and red colors. Check out the images of e-Hobby Exclusive Magnificus figure below for the full reveal.
Thanks to e-Hobby who have posted a teaser for their next release. The image shows some vague letters that appear to spell the name "Mebion" when combined. The name seems to be a reference to past e-Hobby fiction as a fellow named Magnificus that was a black repaint of the Reveal the Shield Perceptor character that also had 3 red lights in his vehicle mode. Check out the teaser image and shots of Reveal the Shield Perceptor for more details below until the offical reveal is made by e-Hobby.
As we reported previously, BBTS have posted images for the G2 themed Hasbro Exclusive Transformers Ultimate Gift Set. This was the one previously reported as a WalMart exclusive but now seems to be a mass market offering. Check out the images of Transformers Reveal the Shield redecos of Deluxes G2 Optimus Prime and Jazz, and Legends Starscream and Optimus Prime, you may be in luck this Fall. The Legends Starscream will be redecorated as Thundercracker and Optiumus Prime will be redecorated as Motormaster.
Remember that Exclusive Transformers Ultimate Gift Set we reported on back in June? Well it looks like they are coming to us via BigBadToyStore instead of WalMart. Following the Dark Energon update, there's a new listing for an Exclusive Transformers Ultimate Gift Set coming in the 4th quarter for $39.99. And indeed, we will be seeing some oldskool style repaints with a Deluxe Combat Hero Optimus Prime in G2 flavors, Jazz V2 (smokescreen?) and more. See the full list and preview image after the jump.

If I buy the same mold twice, I very rarely buy the same character from the same mold. And I initially wasn't planning on getting this Bumblebee, since the original Classics release suited me just fine. It was the only thing from the elusive Wave 2 of Reveal the Shield Deluxes that I wasn't planning on getting, matter of fact. But sometimes when you see something in person, it just grabs you. Fanboys are always looking for homages and tributes to the Autobots and Decepticons they grew up with. In response, Hasbro gives us different attempts to do such. Sometimes, they hit a line drive. Other times, they fall off the mark. This review looks at Transformers Reveal the Shield Strafe, which borrows a mold from the previous movie line. Can a Bayverse figure really make a good G1 tribute? Jump to the review and find out!
It always seems that Hasbro discontinues a line right when the selection gets good. Take Transformers Reveal The Shield Lugnut, for example. He was to be part of the first and only Voyager class wave to hit the Reveal the Shield subline. Unfortunately for him, that release came a bit too close to Dark of the Moon. You can go on the hunt through various clearance chains such as TJ Maxx or Marshalls to find him, but is he worth the exercise? Read the review here to find out!
Fiding the Voyager figures for Reveal The Shield has been like finding a needle in a haystack for many. If you have a TJ Maxx nearby, you might want to poke your head in there. That's where we ended up finding Lugnut and Strafe, who are both now updated on our database. Click on the respective links to check them out!
Well this is quite surprising! After Hasbro explained at BotCon 2011 that the last wave of Transformers Reveal the Shield was lost in the shuffle due to the transition to Transformers Dark of the Moon toys, they promised to try and work to get more of the hard-to-get figures out. Now, figures like Scout Windcharger (which was sold out like hot cakes at BotCon) and Voyagers Solar Storm Grappel and Lugnut, are showing up at quite a discount at Southern California-based store chain Ross for $4.99 and $9.99, respectively. These prices are about half off the suggested retail price. Take a look at the proof after the jump.
Before I start. I gotta say that over the years, I have not been one of those to jump all over Hasbro for every little thing gone wrong in collecting world. While people have bashed them from everything from designs to distribution. I've always given them the benefit of the doubt. However, that patience has faltered. Mostly, it is the promise of figures to be released that we never end up seeing. Join the Discussion Now!

How about a shiny new Reveal the Shield figure instead? G1 robot goodness with a dash of Animated alt mode thrown in to make both parties happy. Click on the link to check out the review!
Everyone's favorite TV talking, axe wielding, ear-to-ear grinning Junkion is back in the saddle... literally. Wreck Gar has returned to his G1 roots thanks to the current Reveal The Shield line. See how he stacks up in this review.
