Takara Tomy has denied that there is a mass release version of the Artfire character, dubbed Transformers United UN-32, which was reported to be a variation of the figure being released as a mail-order exclusive from Million Publishing in the third quarter of this year. Posting on the company's Twitter page, Takara replied to a tweet directed at the company and denied that UN-32 actually exists, stating that Million's version is the only game in town. Million Publishing's has provided additional images of their exclusive Transformers Generations Artfire that will be out in the third quarter of 2012, just in time for you to decide whether you want this version, or the Transformers United UN-32 Artfire that Takara Tomy will release en masse, which we heard heard about on Wednesday. The images of the mail-order only figure were made available from Million publishing on their blog and the product page. Continue reading...

The folks at Million Publishing have posted new images and details on their pending Transformers Generations Exclusive Artfire release. They have confirmed that two Targetmasters, Sparks and Nightstick, will be included with the release. The repaint of the Transformers Reveal the Shield figure will also have a number of color changes made to it. The mail-in only figure is set to begin orders in the third quarter of 2012. Check out the image after the jump for more details.

The first product to come to fruition from the e-Hobby and Transformers Collectors Club joint venture is the offering of the BotCon 2012 convention exclusive set, Transformers Invasion. This set is the six figures that were offered within the big set that was available for BotCon 2012 attendees and non-attendees alike, but was a little out of reach for people in Japan. The Japanese retailer will be offering 150 sets at 35,900 Yen (~$452 USD). Continue reading...

Fun Publications has announced that the BotCon 2012 Custom Class exclusive figure is Shattered Glass Longarm. The figure uses the Transformers Reveal the Shield Jazz mold. The organizers also teased that there will be a "super secret special bonus." Collecticon has provided a photo showing that there are two Shockwave heads (white and purple), along with additional parts to change Longarm to Shockwave. In the Transformers Animated series, Autobot Longarm later revealed himself to be Shockwave. According to Collecticon, Fun Publications thought about Shattered Glass Silverbolt to use the Transformers Generations Thunderwing mold (used as Metalhawk in the Invasion set).

Final results tallied! Check out the results in the full article! Okay, transfans, it is up to you! But just like previous years, there is room for one more as chosen by the fans! So beginning now until Thursday, March 1st at 12:00 PM Eastern time, we are asking for the character you think should the fourth member of this group! Continue reading to learn how!

Well, this is certainly a Christmas gift by Fun Publications! The company behind the annual BotCon convention has released their brochure to reveal the six-figure BotCon 2012 convention exclusive set! The set is a mish mash of the traditional Classics Universe and the Shattered Glass dimension that was birthed in the 2008 exclusive set, and the war criminal Ultra Magnus and his merry band of Evil Autobots will shatter (heh) the barrier between regular and inverse to fight the heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons! Jump through to see the full list of the figures!

It is a little unbelievable, but San Diego Comic-Con International 2011 starts tomorrow! Our staff is en route today in time for the preview night tonight at the San Diego Convention Center, but one of the main questions we have is, "what will we see this weekend?" Thankfully, Transformers related things will be front-loaded, with IDW Publishing, Hasbro, and Hasbro Studios panels on Thursday, so we will not have to wait long. Let's take a look at what to expect here, so hit the jump!

Well this is quite surprising! After Hasbro explained at BotCon 2011 that the last wave of Transformers Reveal the Shield was lost in the shuffle due to the transition to Transformers Dark of the Moon toys, they promised to try and work to get more of the hard-to-get figures out. Now, figures like Scout Windcharger (which was sold out like hot cakes at BotCon) and Voyagers Solar Storm Grappel and Lugnut, are showing up at quite a discount at Southern California-based store chain Ross for $4.99 and $9.99, respectively. These prices are about half off the suggested retail price. Take a look at the proof after the jump.

Yes! Yes! YES!!! Okay so he's a bit short, the head's a funny shape and mine has a rattly leg but he's still really cool! Watch the 2 minute review after the jump.

There have been spottings of the 2nd wave Reveal The Shield figures all over the West Coast at Target stores. If you haven't had much luck finding these figures on the shelf, we've managed to update the database with fresh images, both in and out of box, to show you what's in store. You can view the images for Optimus Prime, Wreck-Gar and Perceptor by clicking the respective links.

If you ever wondered about the evolution of Optimus Prime and you wanted it in pictures by somebody else, you are in luck. FatGuy has taken shots of the brand new Transformers Reveal the Shield G2 Optimus Prime next to previous Prime molds, including the Laser Rod Optimus Prime (repainted as Robots In Disguise Scourge), War for Cybertron, and Revenge of the Fallen. Some shots are in the gallery while the rest are at FatGuys's blog.

The trend of alternate heads for a mold being revealed in a figure's instructions continues with Transformers Reveal the Shield G2 Optimus Prime. The instruction sheet for the figure shows off a head mold that looks similar but what may be new optics and a new chin. Take a look at the new head mold and come up with your own deductions in the forums!
