The next figure in the Transformers Collectors Clubs Figure Subscription Service has been revealed, and Radio Free Cybertron's John DeLuna has posted photos of the figure in both modes, plus tech specs. Thanks to xZAOx over at the Allspark forums who's shared a list of what is being referred to as "Exclusives leaked," though we may caution to take this a just a rumor until we have more confirmation. The new Transformers Collectors Club magazine is shipping to fans and we've got news on the first Pirates vs. Knights figure thanks to the Allspark's member NightViper who worked on the Club Magazine comic. He has shared some of the details on the selection of the Tranformers Prime Ratchet base figure mold that was selected as the first Pirate figure in the set. The TFSS have posted some news and updates to the official Twitter account: "The TFSS 2.0 reveals are about to begin. Some very exciting changes for 2.0. And one character that is so out of left field." Just now they have dropped some news about the following toys: Treadshot using the Generation Warpath mold. Fisitron from Generation Roadbuster, Chromedome from TF: Prime Wheeljack. With word that Chromdome will have a new head sculpt. forums member Walky, we have confirmation that the Transformers BotCon 2013 theme will be Machine Wars. The news was revealed in the latest edition of the TFCC Magazine that appears to be landing in people's mailboxes just about now. Word is the image shows teasers for Machine Wars Soundwave, Megatron, Starscream, Laser Prime (RTS) and Galvatron. We can only hope there will be some actual Machine Wars molds such as the Universe King Atlas
(shown below) offered up instead of reduxed figures, but we'll have to wait and see.
Just in is news from the Transformers Collectors' Club who have reported the upcoming Shattered Glass Soundwave Vs Blaster set price will be $195 USD + Shipping. They will have Pre-orders up for roughly a month starting tomorrow 9/12. The name, "Solar Requiem" has been confirmed as the new series name to be accompanied by a comic back story, stickers and deluxe packaging. Read the full details and new english version poster below. The Transformers Collectors' Club have let it be know that the e-HOBBY Shattered Glass Soundwave vs. SG Blaster set will indeed be available to fans outside of Japan. A tweet from the TCC staff had the following to say: "People are wondering, will we be carrying the E Hobby Soundwave VS Blaster? Answer... YES!" in response to them carrying the E Hobby Soundwave Vs. Blaster set. Word is an English translation for the VSE teaser image will be released over the weekend.
The Transformers Collectors Club have posted an update on their Facebook page with some details about the service. They are reminding everyone the sign up period ends at midnight central time on September 10, 2012. Additionally, they are reminding people to who plated orders to check the FSS web site, NOT the club store site. Most importantly for people looking to order single figures. Some news just in about the collaboration between E-hobby Japan & Transformers Collectors Club. The have posted a page with an update in-language that states the E-hobby limited edition collaboration with Fun Publications.inc. Has finally started! There is an image showing the Earth and both the E-Hobby and Fun Publications logos. The inscription in German and Japanese refers to a dark story that will be told. The Transformers Collectors Club have revealed the Shattered Glass Drift action figure today. The "bot of banter" will be available in the of Spring 2012! Get a look at the figure which is a repaint / remold of the Generations Drift figure. According to the BotCon panel
, DS Drift would be released with the guns that came with Generations Blurr instead of the swords. Here we see him with a sword and not guns. The TFCC release just says " comes with a selection of weapons." So we'll have to wait for more details to know more.
We have been informed by a number of forums members that the Transformers Collectors Club Magazine #39 Now Hitting Mailboxes. This is the issue with the Transformers San Diego Comic-Con Optimus Prime on the cover. Thanks to our man Sclaceface who has been kind enough to do a little write up on what is in this month's issue. Several BotCon 2011 attendees were able to pick up their exclusive Stunticon box sets as well as their free attendee figure, which has been revealed as Fisitron! The character is based off of the critically-acclaimed IDW Publishing series Last Stand of the Wreckers
