Thanks to news and images on the Cyber Gundam Blog we have word from TakaraTomy on new Transformers Fall of Cybertron Data Disk (Cassettes) sets. Soon as I saw the Tape Bots were back, I knew we would get all the classic G1 characters and here they are. Takara will offering the figures in 4-pags instead of two like Hasbro has chosen. The TG-15 Autobot set inlcudes Eject, Ramhorn, Rewind, and Sundor. The TG-16 Decepticon set will include of Frenzy (blue), Rat Bat, Ravage, and Rumble (red). Look for these guys to be priced at 2,980 Yen / $37 USD with a release in Japan set for April 27, 2013. Get a look at the images below for more information.

Transformers fans have been feeling the pinch of raising prices for some time now with the cost of most Transformers toys going up at least 50% in the last 5 years. Sadly, we have some news from our site sponsor RobotKingdom that Hasbro have raised prices again without notice on new Transformers Fall of Cybertron toys.
