CinemaCon: Michaeal Bay Blows Up Significant Location For The Last Knight

Here's an interesting tid bit just in from CinemaCon that is going on now in Las Vegas, Nevada. The folks over at The Hollywood Reporter have shared some comments from the panel discussion with Anthony Hopkins. He shares some insights on working with Transformers Director Michael Bay. Hopkins goes on to remark about Bay and a significant location that he plans to, what else, BLOW UP! This is somewhat spoilerish, so we have refrained from naming the location. Read on if you dare.

During a panel discussion, Hopkins described his strategy for working successfully with Bay: "Do what he tells you. Obey orders." He also spoke out about filming at Stonehenge, joking about when Bay ended up building a fake Stonehenge just to blow it up. The director admired the production's version so much, he said "ours was much better than theirs." Hopkins said "only an American" would have the gumption to say such a thing about a beloved wonder of the world.

Another interesting takeaways, is the director continues to highlight this is not a sequel, and making it quite clear that is this a "fresh" look at the Transformers.

"This is not a number five. This feels like a brand new, fresh look into the Transformers,"
