Custom Legends Ginrai Brings Combiner Wars & Titans Return Together To Make The Best Super Ginrai
ExVee - Monday, March 20, 2017

Japanese fan omochasouko02 has shared the result of an incredibly impressive customization project on Twitter. Taking Combiner Wars Rook and adding a lot of remodeling, the result is a fully transformable cab robot that fits in the Super Ginrai body and works with the vehicle mode. Plus the Ginrai Titan Master was modified as well to act as the Godmaster engine. You'll definitely want to check out the mirrored Twitter photos and the customizer's photo blog featuring even more - including the surprising place the Super Ginrai head goes when not in use. It sure is a good thing Blurr and Scourge are getting reissued in December, because we suspect there'll be some people hunting for them. TakaraTomy's Transformers PR account has posted images of the Legends Blurr with LG51 "Targetmaster" Doublecross' partner, Haywire as well as Scourge modeling the Sweeps head included with LG44 Sharkticon! As if TakaraTomy hadn't improved on these Titans Return Wave 1 Deluxes enough already by virtue of their paint, you've got more options coming. Keep reading to see!
TRANSFORMERS LEGENDS Pre-Orders - Launched in 2014, the Transformers Legends toyline features figures that have appeared in the 30-year history of the Transformers, with a more modern interpretation and premium paint application. Each Legends figure is packaged with a lighthearted web comic that focuses on the character!
Once again starting our day with a healthy serving of Japanese Transformer stock photos, we've got more from yesterday's reveal of the December Legends Series lineup. TakaraTomy has updated their site with full stock photo ranges for Bumblebee with Spike, Slugslinger, Perceptor, and Octone with Starscream's Ghost. In addition to the standard stock images, they also have turnaround sets for each toy, showing lots of angles - albeit not in the largest of image sizes! We have the entire huge selection of images in the gallery below, over 100 in all! Click through to see them now.
As a quick followup to our previous post, Autobase Aichi has managed to find the full assortment of stock photos for the December Legends Series assortment, confirmed such things as, yes, Octone comes with Headmaster Ghost Starscream with new Seeker face, plus looks at all the vehicle modes and better detail thanks to somewhat higher-res images. The stock image of Headmaster/Titan Master Spike is less than flattering though, looking a bit like Robocop in the attempt to emulate the dome with human face underneath in the usual form factor of a Titan Master head. Keep reading to see the whole set!
Japanese collector news site figsoku appears to have caught some Amazon Japan listings that went live a little early. From them we have our first looks at the December assortment of TakaraTomy's Legends series, though the listing pages themselves on Amazon now result in 404 errors. It looks like the Spike with Bumblebee is another new Titan Master body which does resemble the exosuit seen in Transformers: The Movie, with what looks like Hasbro's Rebirth-style Cerebros face on the back - or is it? Keep reading for more info on the assortment!
