Skipping the Energon series altogether, Hasbro recently introduced the Cybertron TV series onto DVD. Squeezing 7 DVDs into one set is quite the feat, but can this set stand on it's own without the lure of special features or behind the scenes looks? It has been slightly altered from the previously seen design, as the logo is now on the top of the packaging and the extra text on the cover has been removed. We have just received some news about "Transformers Cybertron: The Ultimate Collection," a DVD box set containing every episode from the animated series, set for release on July 22 by Paramount. Hasbro and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced that they will release Transformers: Cybertron: The Ultimate Collection on July 22, 2008. This set is sure to be a hulking size with a runtime of a full 19 hours and some spare minutes. Oddly enough, the specifications we currently have list it as having one disc, which is most definitely wrong. Pricing is not available at this time but stay tuned as we get more information for you. Starting on this week Friday, July, 13, 2007, Transformers Cybertron on YTV will now be on Fridays at 12:00p.m. and Saturdays at 11:30a.m., with the episodes shown on Fridays repeated on Saturdays. Asswhomp Supreme reports: I don't know how new this is, but the game has a "new!" sticky on it and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere yet. Cartoon network has added a new Transformers (Cybertron) game to their site (cartoonnetwork.com) that plays somewhat like Sonic the Hedgehog. According to their front page, they're also having a "marathon" of Cybertron episodes this Saturday the 30th, from 7-9pm. Check out the game and more info here.

Thanks to the folks at TransFormers Philippines we got a surprising news about the lastest Jollibee Kids Meal, which is the Transformers Cybertron Robot Blasters. This promo will run from January 13th to February 10, 2007. Featured characters are Optimus Prime, Vector Prime, Jetfire, and Megatron. This is a first for Jollibee to bring in these meal toys. Usually TF toys comes out as a meal toy from another burger restaurant. All figures comes out with colored stands matching each characters color. Just wanted to let my fellow Canadian TF Fans know that according to YTV's Schedule webpages, Transformers Cybertron on YTV will for now on only be on Saturdays at it's new time 2:30p.m. starting on this week Saturday, January, 6, 2007. With YTV showing G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 only on Saturdays at it's new time 2:00p.m. starting on this week Saturday as well, I guess this could be considered YTV's Hasbro Saturday Afternoon Hour, with Sigma 6 at 2:00p.m., and Cybertron at 2:30p.m.
Released at the very end of the line, the confusingly named Galaxy Force Optimus Prime comes to us as a somewhat dark recdeco of the original red, silver and blue Prime motif. Many fans complained the figure lacked enough redecoration to make it a worth while re-issue. Those of us who love Optimus Prime see this as a welcome addition to the very enjoyable Cybertron line and our collections. Check out the pics of his robot modes in the image gallery.
Repaints galore are hanging in the isles as the Cybertron toy line winds down. Some of the cooler pre-paints to be released under the series are the deluxe Optimus Prime and Megatron figures. Originally made for Cybertron, they were released as Beast Wars 10th Anniversary toys first. Now that the real deal are out in the stores, we have posted a load of pics showing the Deluxe Megatron figure in the image gallery.
Toys R Us opened its first ever Philippine branch last June 30, 2006. The first major event was The Collectors' Meet held last September 23 to 30, 2006 at the 4th level, Robinson's Galleria West Wing Lobby. The top collectors of Die Cast Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH), PinoyToyKolektor (PTK), Cybertron Philippines, and Sentai Manila showcased their collectibles during the event. In the G1 days, Smokescreen was aptly named because he could put out a smoke camoflauge. His alt mode was a 4th generation Nissan Fairlady Z (or ZX for the americana), more specifically the early 80s 280ZX with the snubnose. He disappeared for awhile, then reappeared in Armada as a crane truck. This didn't seem fitting at all and you have to still wonder how that happened. There were rumors that he was making a return in Cybertron having his alt form as a sports car. However, the 11th hour had his mold name changed to Crosswise. Why is anyone's guess. Whether they planned this from the start or bowed to fandom complaints, Crosswise has been repainted and is now issued as Smokescreen. Read More

Just wanted everyone in Canada who has YTV known that starting on this week Friday, September, 8, 2006, according to the YTV website, Transfomers Cybertron will be on Fridays at 7:00p.m., with the episode shown agian on late Friday nights/early Saturday mornings at around 3:30a.m., and Saturdays at 2:00p.m. At this time, Cybertron is the only Transformers related series that YTV is airing. Also note that YTV still does show infomericals on the late night/early morning programming, meaning at times, Cybertron may not be on late Fridays/early Saturdays because of the infomerical. As many in the uk know cybertron had a short run on toonami before it got cancelled. I got Curious about what ITV2 would show after they finished Energon and i discovered to my delight they will be showing Cybertron starting May 22nd with the episode One Fallen. Storm of Tfans.
