 Finally, we get some real looks at the MP-09 Master Piece Rodimus Prime action figure from Takara Tomy. These pics from Chara Hobby thanks to GENgoraw's and higekumatoytoy blogs for showing us the figure in full color and with his much expected Hot Rod mode to be confirmed.  TakaraTomy has updated their Welcome to Transformers 2010 campaign website to provide us some new official looks at the reissue Predaking figure, coming out in November. These images are quite similar to what we have seen before, but also give us looks at the cards that each figure will come with. An image of the figure's packaging has also been included. The figure is out on November 27, 2010 and is available for pre-order at several of our fine sponsors, BigBadToyStore, TFSource, Robot Kingdom. Take a look at the images in the gallery below.
 New Gum Box figures will be released by Kabaya. Thanks to a posting at Rakuten with the pre-order listing information we have learned they will offering a G1 Ultra Magnus that transformers with trailer. Generation 1 Prowl will also be offered. Most interesting of all is a mini-version of the Classics Jetfire mold named Skyfire that was a redux of the G1 Jetfire. Gotta love Takara and Kabaya for bringing us all the best Transformers stuff.
 Thanks to Ngee Khiong who has posted scans from the October Issue of the Japanese hobby collectors magazines. The page shows much of what we have seen already of the grey prototype mold that was shown at the show in China late last month. What's new is we see the figure in come action poses as well as a look at his gun, base and scale comparisons to the G1 Rodimus figure and alternate modes.
 Just in is news about the Masterpiece MP-09 Rodimus Prime figure that is being offered as part of Takara Tomy's 2010 line. The news is the MP figure is slated for released in Japan in January 2011. The figure is said to be selling for a price of 16,000 JPY / $187 USD. The figure is available for pre-order at sponsors online now with estimated prices listed around $200. Check back with them for details on actual pricing.
 Takara Tomy have revealed they will offering another Halloween special edition based on the Disney Label Transformers action figure line. Last time it was Mickey Prime, this year we've got Donald Duck as Bumblebee repainted in the traditional Halloween colors of orange, black and gold / brown. Available at 7-11 stores, pre-orders start August 17th with release slated for September 25th at a price of 4200 JPY / $49 USD. Get a look at this zany figure now at takaratomy.co.jp
 Thanks to HK-TF's CW2009, we have a nice gallery of TakaraTomy's Welcome to Transformers 2010 CharaHobby Exclusive Sons of Cybertron set. The set includes a never-before-released (in Japan) Optimus Prime (with spinning action) and with Henkei! Hot Rodimus. The convention will take place at the end of this month with ToyHobby Market selling other inventory on their website beginning August 30th.

On show is what looks like a large Transformers display with lots of product from Hasbro and Takara Tomy.  The Allspark has posted scans of the comic book included with TakaraTomy's e-Hobby Exclusive Edition Masterpiece MP-03G Ghost Starscream. Find out the origin of Masterpiece Ghost Starscream and how he came to be. This comic continues the storyline originated with Masterpiece Convoy Black. This comic was only included in the Japanese e-Hobby Edition of MP-03G and not included in the general Asian release. The Transformers e-Hobby Comic Vol. 2 is written by Naoto Sakai and illustrated by Hidetsugu Yoshioka. Check out the comic now at Allspark.com

 According to Snakas, TakaraTomy will unveil a gray prototype version of their upcoming Masterpiece Rodimus figure at this weekend's CybertronCon China. Snakas also reports that a colored prototype will then be shown at the C3XHobby convention, which takes place this year from August 28 - 29, 2010.
 Thanks to the CyberGundam blog, we have learned that the current issue of Figure Oh #150 has published a sketch of TakaraTomy's upcoming Masterpiece Rodimus! The figure will be part of the Welcome to Transformers 2010 campaign and will be worth three points. While rumblings about the potential release of this figure have been going around for quite some time this is the first time we have seen any physical proof of the figure. Read more.
 I found these pics on the web over at rakuten.co.jp/robochris who has put up these pics of the 2010 campaign Predaking release. It shows it has a NICE gold painted paint scheme that differs from the original or re-release. This IMO makes the price a little more justifiable. Check out the images after the jump.
