TFCon Chicago is almost here, and quite a few companies are showing up to have fun! Among the unexpected publishers... are ThreeA, makers of the upcoming Premium Scale G1 Optimus Prime figure. They'll be bringing along a striking print by artist Ashley Wood that is based on the figure. This print will be limited to 45 pieces and they don't mention the price in the press release, so I wouldn't expect it to be cheap. Keep reading to see the image!

ComicBlitz, the “All You Can Eat” subscription service, announce a partnership with IDW Publishing, as a digital distributor for the premier comics publisher. Hundreds of comics and graphic novels will be rolling out over the next few months on the platform, starting today with over 125 issues of titles such as Transformers, GI Joe, Star Trek, My Little Pony, Dungeons & Dragons, Locke & Key, The Crow, and more!

In the continuation of one of the most amazing discoveries in our fandom, Transformers At The Moon has released the contents of another audio tape of previously unheard dialogue from the G1 cartoon. This installment covers all of More Than Meets The Eye part 2, with the new content running around five minutes in total. There aren't any fully new scenes discovered, but some are expanded quite a bit versus the TV broadcast. And once again we've put together stills from the aired episode the lend context to the various snippets of audio. Keep reading for that and the embedded video!

One again, Hallmark was showing off their upcoming holiday ornaments for the 2016 season with some nice reveals for Transformers Generation 1 fans. Hallmark are going all G1 this year with two different styles of product. The first are robot modes repros of the original Grimlock and Soundwave toys. The others are what appear to be mini-plush editions of Optimus Prime, Soundwave and Bumblebee. Look for these to show up in retail for the holidays at a price of $15,95 USD. Read on to see them all in the gallery.

Transformers@TheMoon has posted their final tape from the very first episode of The Transformers, "More Than Meets The Eye, Part 1"! This one is a bit light on new material, but we do get more of voice director Wally Burr directing "body english" takes! This isn't the last of TF@TM's material, but they've finally reached the end of the first third of the 1984 premiere. Click through to listen!

Transformers@TheMoon continues its exploration of a collection of audio cassettes containing dialogue from the G1 cartoon! Today they're focusing on "body english" - grunts of exertion and pain and other basic sounds needed to accompany action scenes. (There's also a single example of mild profanity from Chris Latta, in case you're listening to this in a work environment.) We also get to hear voice director Wally Burr forget Megatron's name - but bear in mind this is from everyone's first day of work. Click through to hear the audio!

Transformers@TheMoon has posted the third installment in their collection of Sunbow G1 Audio tapes! We're still in the midst of the very first episode, "More Than Meets The Eye, Part 1," and we've got another round of deleted scenes! Judging from Chris Latta's performance as Starscream on some of these lines, you get the feeling that it was known some of this material would probably not be used... then again, one of the tapes is labeled "Day 1," so it could simply be that he was still feeling out the character. Click through to hear the audio!

Transformers At The Moon is continuing with the amazing work of digitizing the contents of a cache of old production audio cassettes from the Generation 1 cartoon, featuring never before heard audio of scenes that didn't make the final broadcast episodes. In the second such installment, we have more from part 1 of More Than Meets The Eye, featuring extended versions of familiar scenes, and one that was removed entirely! We've taken some screencaps from the episode to help you establish context, check them out while you listen to the clips, embedded below!

Transformers At The Moon has acquired a real piece of Transformers history: original audio tapes of the dialogue tracks for the G1 cartoon! That in and of itself would be notable, but there are also deleted scenes on these tapes! TF@TM has put up a video of an excerpt from "More Than Meets The Eye, Part 1" featuring heretofore unheard dialogue between Bumblebee and Ratchet, among others. All this, and you get to hear legendary voice director Wally Burr at work too. Keep reading to hear!

Amazon has listed a new Transformers vs. GI Joe collection that collects the entire 13-issue series into one hardcover! Transformers vs. GI Joe: The Quintessential Collection is also described as "oversized," but this may be a measurement of thickness, given that the dimensions are given as the standard 7x11. Extras are also promised - might that have something to do with Tom Scioli's occasional posting of new TF v. Joe drawings on Twitter? Keep reading to see Amazon's description of the collection and a link to the preorder page!

Last year's short but memorable Transformers: Devastation featured a boss battle with Shockwave where the one-handed logician displayed a fascinating, very video-gamey power: the ability to create duplicates of himself. The Transformers Wiki has posted to Twitter a picture of Shockwave's description from the original 1984 series bible, with some very familiar but new information. Keep reading to see!

The Official Twitter account for Transformers: Earth War has posted a new update giving up the game character profile for one of the Autobots. Jetfire knows that science is the most powerful weapon in the battle against the Decepticons. Read on to see the image and full character profile.
