Coming from the Machine Robo Facebook page, we have a set of photos showing off the series 2 lineup of the "Masterpiece" Machine Robo figures from Action Toys. Cement Robo, Blackbird Robo, Turbo Robo, and Space Robo are all shown off in multiple angles in their robot forms along with one good look each at their vehicles. The engineering tricks don't seem to have stopped in this assortment, just judging by the interesting things Cement Robo does between modes! No release date or other info was offered with the photos, but this should certainly build the anticipation for their upcoming sale. Keep reading to see it all!

If you were a fan of Gobots back in the 80's then you will want to check out this new review of the Machine Robo: Revenge Of Cronos Eagle Robo/Leader-1 figure from Action Toys.

The site Elljay Hobby Collection has posted new images of the Action Toys Machine Robo figures! Based on the Bandai toys that served as source material for GoBots, the Machine Robo toys - Bike Robo, Eagle Robo, and Battle Robo - are nicely detailed and come with some really great-looking bases. Mr. Elljay hasn't posted a gallery of the Robo Drill yet, but we'll update later if he does. Keep reading to see the photos!

Just up at BBTS are new pre-orders for the Action Toys Machine Robo figures. Now available are the MR-01 Bike Robo stands 4.50" tall in robot mode and comes equipped with an axe. In bike mode his wheels actually roll and his kickstand and handlebars can be removed. This item is priced at $45.99. Also listed, the MR-02 Drill Rod stands 4.75" tall in robot mode and is armed with two arm blades. Drill mode features rolling wheels and two drill attachments. This item is priced at $45.99. Order them now at bigbadtoystore.com

The Machine Robo Facebook page has posted images of Action Toys' upcoming figures of Bike Robo, Jet Robo, Battle Robo, and Rod Drill - better known to US fans as Gobots characters Cy-Kill, Leader-1, Tank, and Screw Head! The figures are excellent looking and very high-quality... but if you're looking for something closer to the Hanna Barbera interpretations of the Gobots, they may not quite be what you're looking for. Keep reading to see!

Without bothering to tell anyone, Warner Bros. has shipped the second volume of Challenge of the GoBots on DVD! Picking up from where the first set left off, the set also includes Robo-Force: Revenge of Nazgar, a TV special featuring everyone's favorite suction-cupped, flaily-armed robot toys. Keep reading for the product description and a link!

TAG Hobby has posted images of the Action Toys display at the C3 hobby show in China, and surprisingly there's a large display of what appear to be high-end, licensed Masterpiece-style Machine Robo figures! There are even a few recognizable faces such as the toys that became Leader-1 and Cy-Kill, which is interesting since most of the US-released GoBots weren't major players in the anime Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos. Keep reading to see the images!

Today GoBots have been absorbed into Transformers as minor background characters, club exclusive characters and the occasional odd homage. Check out this tidbit of GoBots (and by extension Transformers) history... One of the things that set Transformers apart from GoBots back in 1984 was the wonderful biographies and tech specs included on Transformers toys. While the GoBots toys mostly lacked any type of biography, it was uncovered that Tonka did try to created personalities for the GoBots before the Challenge of the GoBots TV series aired.

Thanks to Steztoo for passing along images of the latest Transformers Go-Bots on their cards. These guys with real lights inside them have been slowing making their way into US stores. We thought we'd post pics for those who've not seen them yet. Check out the gallery for Buzzerbot, Racerbot, Taxibot and Truckbot. of them new figures here.

The third wave of GoBots are now in the stores. There are some familiar faces in cool new colors as well as a batch of fresh new vehicles in this round up including a 4x4 truck, motorcycle and dump truck. The black Reptron is pretty darn cool too. Check out pics of them all HERE.

While doing a little last minute holiday shopping at Toy R US, I unexpectedly happened upon the new Playskool Go-Bots figure Silverbolt. Check out the image gallery featuring the newest deluxe sized figure in the Go-Bots line HERE.

Remy has posted a new gallery with a spotlight on the Go-Bots Formula 1 race car. This is one of the coolest looking Go-Bots yet. Check out the shots of this all new mold HERE.
