Legends Series Photos! LG-47 Kickback & Clouder, LG-48 Brawn & Repugnus, LG-49 Targetmaster Triggerhappy
RAC - Sunday, May 14, 2017

Finally! After more than a few people placed preorders for the TakaraTomy version of these Titans Return figures sight unseen, Dengeki Hobby has posted images for October's Legends releases! Kickback sports silver-lined clear plastic wings now - maybe not exactly what we all hoped for but still a significant improvement. But surprisingly, Triggerhappy's faceplate doesn't seem to have changed, which is very unusual for a Legends release of a TR figure. Guess you'll have to settle for the all-new Targetmaster partner. Keep reading to see the photos!
All three figures are scheduled for a late October release. The two Legends-class figures are priced at 2,000 Yen each while Triggerhappy will set you back 4,000. Kickback is available for pre-order now at BigBadToyStore.com.

Since we heard about TakaraTomy's "Power of Prime" line, we've been speculating that the reduced prices (relative to Legends series) indicate straight repacks of the US toys. While nothing is 100% certain until we have them in hand... those sure are US toys in the Dengeki Hobby photo gallery we've mirrored here. In particular, Jazz's markings are all 100% identical to the US release in these photos - even if these are entirely the US-release toys, whether the promised running change will apply to the TakaraTomy release is currently unknown. Good photos though - keep reading to see more!
The ever reliable Tagoal has posted new in-hand images of LG-EX God Ginrai! The figure is a re-release of the individual TakaraTomy Godbomber and Super Ginrai, and... basically, what you get for this fancy boxset is clear windows on Ginrai, chrome on Godbomber, and two new Headmasters. Is that worth buying this set twice? Probably not, but we think it'll probably come down to how much you like Minerva and Cab. Keep reading!
We've reported previously on the retool of Cerebros and Emissary - or if you prefer, Fortress - to feature likenesses of the "Downtown" comedy duo. Tonight we have an official page for the mailaway exclusive item, complete with clearer stock images of the larger figure and its Titan Master/Headmasters, showing both of the faces as well as the face that will adorn whatever Fortress or Grand Maximus one may eventually dock this item to. We're still waiting to find out what exactly might go on the sound chip for this edition. Click through to see the photos.
The opening alone is worth the price of admission. TakaraTomy has posted a new 100-second ad for their Street Fighter II x Transformers toys to YouTube, and it's a nice little thing with a great adaptation of the Super Street Fighter II Turbo intro. Keep reading to have a look!
Singapore fangroup Planet Iacon broke the news - and site sponsor BigBadToyStore has just confirmed - that TakaraTomy's version of Power of the Primes begins in May! Titled very similarly as Power of Prime, the figures listed are being released in a format seemingly identical to their US releases. But, what's interesting is what's not listed from Wave 1. Keep reading for details!
