MP-23 Exhaust Cancelled? - Takara Tomy and Philip Morris Fail to Reach Agreement on Figure

Update from Kapow toys indicates the Transformers Masterpiece MP-23 Exhaust, Diaclone Marlboor repaint, of WheelJack may be cancelled. According to the report, the changes made by Takara Tomy are not enough to distinguish the robot transformer vehicle from a pack of cigarettes. As silly as this may sound. The unfortunate truth is the toy is bound to their Brand and there's only so far they can go. Read on for the full remarks from Andy at Kapow Toys.

It is with sadness that we have now stopped taking orders for Masterpiece Exhaust. Even with the changes to the bonnet it seems the tobacco company Philip Morris the parent company of Marlboro still do not like the fact a robotic car bares resemblance to one of their cigarette packets. We have been told in no certain terms that the product must be removed from our website immediately, yaaaaaaay frown emoticon

If you have any questions about the subject at hand please email contact@kapowtoys.co.uk for more info.

Thanks!

Andy
