Perfect Effect Previews Upgrade Kit For Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator With Prowl Head & New Mixmaster Cab

Now that the figure is filtering out to stores this was inevitable, right? Perfect Effect's Japanese Twitter account has posted a set of images of a planned upgrade kit for Combiner Wars Devastator! There's a lot of improvements both small and large in these photos, as well as something many IDW fans have been clamoring for. Keep reading for photos and a description!


The set or sets include a variety of parts many fans should find useful: elbows for Long Haul, improved forearms & hands for 3 other Constructions, more G1 cab for Mixmaster and a better scoop for Scavenger, new hands for Devastator itself... And then there's the IDW-inspired "Prowlastator" head, which actually has a fairly creepy-looking Prowl head nested beneath it! This is a neat set that addresses many of the concerns people have had about Devastator - especially the US release - and we'll be sure to bring you pricing and availability info as soon as we have it.

Robot Kingdom has just updated their Facebook page with copies of the Perfect Effect Devastator upgrade images, noting that preorders for them will begin next week. But more importantly it looks like they're also verifying the distribution of parts. According to their information, PC-06 will include... read more

Over the summer, DX9 revealed their entry in the new market of Masterpiece-compatible unofficial Omega Supremes, Gabriel. It then went quiet for a while. But now we know why, and there's a new prototype photo to top it off! Apparently some modification were being made to the design after the first reveal, which naturally led to delays in showing any more promotional content for the product. A color testshot is promised sometime in the near future, but right now you can click through and see the non-color prototype mirrored below.
