Radio Free Cybertron - 515: The Last Cruise, and why do you still collect?
Kilby - Thursday, April 20, 2017

This week on Radio Free Cybertron: Takara provides new photos of Kup with corrected hue. Does this change anyone's opinion on this toy? (Hint: Yes.) Also on the show we talk about the return of Robots in Disguise on April 29th, the awesomeness that is the upcoming dinosaur Bumblebee toy, Transformers coming to Carnival Cruises, Magna Convoy, more last Knight toy details, and more. Plus we have a discussion about why we still do this to ourselves? If distribution is so bad, and prices keep rising? Why do we still collect? We round out the show with the return of a segment from over 15 years ago, Bad Poet's Corner. All that and more on this week's Radio Free Cybertron!

This nearly slipped past us yesterday! The @tfwiki Twitter has posted a photo of the resin Volcanicus prototype from HasCon that shows yet another way to dispose of your two spare hands. See, Voyager torsobots are now going to ship with a pair of dedicated feet, and each limb will have its own separate hand. But there's another way to stow them, one that might even be more beneficial than padding out Dinobot Combiner Volcanicus' torso. Read on to find out!
Previews World has posted the latest order sheets, giving us not only our first look at the regular comic titles heading to shops in December, but also three collected volumes that'll be coming along in January. Our regular entries include Lost Light 13 and Optimus Prime 14, joined by the highly anticipated Till All Are One Annual 2017, plus the new miniseries Transformers vs Visionaries launches! You can find full solicits and cover preview for most of these titles below.
Writer James Roberts has revealed that More Than Meets The Eye artist Alex Milne will be making his return with Lost Light #13! It's a standalone issue, Roberts reports on Twitter, but also promised that Milne would later be returning for a longer run. Excellent news to be sure! Keep reading to see the tweets, along with a cover for issue #13!
On the RFC Reviews channel, diecast has shared a video for the Hascon "exclusive" that caught most people's attention, Titans Return Arcee. This is the latest heavy retool of Blurr featuring a bonus die-cast metal Ultra Magnus Titan Master in addition to its own Titan Master Leinad. All information so far is that this will be available again outside of the convention distribution, with the info card at the event promising major retailers. Meantime, you can watch the video embedded below to get a better look at the whole set!
A Weibo source has posted some new in-hand images of Power of the Primes Leader class Optimus Prime. And perhaps most interestingly, they stand it up next to Masterpiece MP-10 Prime... and it doesn't fare all that badly! Certainly MP-10 has an edge since it doesn't need to integrate its trailer into its body, but in terms of style and scale they compare pretty respectably. Keep reading to see the images!
