Transformers Reveal the Shield
News

Thanks to Primeultimus and Savage Dragon of the Seibertron and TFW forums, We have news and images of the Transformers Reveal The Shield Legends Figure in Age of Extinction packaging that were found at the Family Dollar stores in Florida. It appears Hasbro isn't wasting any time to roll out their figures in the new packaging. Fans should be able to find these for $6 USD. Not sure if when they will be hitting stores in other states. Leave a comment with your sightings below.

Following the news on the e-Hobby Exclusive Magnificus figure, we have images of the actual action figure. As expected the toy is a repaint of the Reveal the Shield Perceptor with a new head sculpt in black and red colors. Check out the images of e-Hobby Exclusive Magnificus figure below for the full reveal.

Thanks to e-Hobby who have posted a teaser for their next release. The image shows some vague letters that appear to spell the name "Mebion" when combined. The name seems to be a reference to past e-Hobby fiction as a fellow named Magnificus that was a black repaint of the Reveal the Shield Perceptor character that also had 3 red lights in his vehicle mode. Check out the teaser image and shots of Reveal the Shield Perceptor for more details below until the offical reveal is made by e-Hobby.

As we reported previously, BBTS have posted images for the G2 themed Hasbro Exclusive Transformers Ultimate Gift Set. This was the one previously reported as a WalMart exclusive but now seems to be a mass market offering. Check out the images of Transformers Reveal the Shield redecos of Deluxes G2 Optimus Prime and Jazz, and Legends Starscream and Optimus Prime, you may be in luck this Fall. The Legends Starscream will be redecorated as Thundercracker and Optiumus Prime will be redecorated as Motormaster.

Remember that Exclusive Transformers Ultimate Gift Set we reported on back in June? Well it looks like they are coming to us via BigBadToyStore instead of WalMart. Following the Dark Energon update, there's a new listing for an Exclusive Transformers Ultimate Gift Set coming in the 4th quarter for $39.99. And indeed, we will be seeing some oldskool style repaints with a Deluxe Combat Hero Optimus Prime in G2 flavors, Jazz V2 (smokescreen?) and more. See the full list and preview image after the jump.

If you were looking for a Transformers gift set that includes Transformers Reveal the Shield redecos of Deluxes G2 Optimus Prime and Jazz, and Legends Starscream and Optimus Prime, you may be in luck this Fall. The Legends Starscream will be redecorated as Thundercracker and Optiumus Prime will be redecorated as Motormaster. Continue reading...

If I buy the same mold twice, I very rarely buy the same character from the same mold. And I initially wasn't planning on getting this Bumblebee, since the original Classics release suited me just fine. It was the only thing from the elusive Wave 2 of Reveal the Shield Deluxes that I wasn't planning on getting, matter of fact. But sometimes when you see something in person, it just grabs you. Fanboys are always looking for homages and tributes to the Autobots and Decepticons they grew up with. In response, Hasbro gives us different attempts to do such. Sometimes, they hit a line drive. Other times, they fall off the mark. This review looks at Transformers Reveal the Shield Strafe, which borrows a mold from the previous movie line. Can a Bayverse figure really make a good G1 tribute? Jump to the review and find out!

It always seems that Hasbro discontinues a line right when the selection gets good. Take Transformers Reveal The Shield Lugnut, for example. He was to be part of the first and only Voyager class wave to hit the Reveal the Shield subline. Unfortunately for him, that release came a bit too close to Dark of the Moon. You can go on the hunt through various clearance chains such as TJ Maxx or Marshalls to find him, but is he worth the exercise? Read the review here to find out!

Fiding the Voyager figures for Reveal The Shield has been like finding a needle in a haystack for many. If you have a TJ Maxx nearby, you might want to poke your head in there. That's where we ended up finding Lugnut and Strafe, who are both now updated on our database. Click on the respective links to check them out!

A Yahoo! Japan auction from rikistoy has given us our first looks at Transformers Reveal the Shield scout Demolition Rumble and Downshift. The images show off the front and back of the blister packages, Rumble and Downshift. We just learned about Rumble last month while Downshift is a redecorated Hunt for the Deceptions Hubcap with a rub sign to boot. Take a look at the shots in the gallery.

Thanks to HK-TF member mike, we have new images of Transformers: Reveal the Shield Deluxe Wreck-Gar as well as an in-package shot of the figure. The figure is slated for a release this month. Take a look at the images in the gallery.

Believe it or not, some people missed the boat on Classics Rodimus and/or Universe 2.0 Cyclonus. Therefore, the recent release of the "Battle In Space" 2-pack is a must have. But what if you have both these figures? Are there enough differences to justify buying a variation? We recently loaded images from the 2-pack into the movie database. Click the links to check out Rodimus and Cyclonus.

Thanks to L-U over at HK-TF who has posted yet more images of the Transformers Reveal the Shield G2 Optimus Prime. This figure is a deluxe class homage to the Generation 2 Laser Rod Optimus Prime play set that was released in the late 80s. Here, Convoy is sized down, and articulated up for even more TFing fun.

TFcClub have posted a new auction on Taobao with more looks at the Reveal the Shield Strafe action figure. Check out this repaint of the Revenge of the Fallen Mindwipe action figure made up to look like the Generation 1 Autobot Technobot and Computron member. Check out all the angles on this figure after the jump.
